POR Gets: #14, #43, Courtney Lee (TPE)
    DEN Gets: #24
    NYK Gets: Kenneth Faried

POR Gets: #10, Tobias Harris, Jerryd Bayless
DAL Gets: #12, #13, 2019 POR 1st, Caleb Swanigan, Jake Layman
LAC Gets: #5, Meyers Leonard, Al-Farouq Aminu
    PHI Gets: #14

Draft Mikal Bridges 10th, Shake Milton 43rd

    Lillard / Baldwin / Bayless
    McCollum / Lee / Milton
    Bridges / Harkless / Turner
    Harris / Collins / ?
    Nurkic / Davis / Papagiannis

That lineup is much better, and still young and that's with two draft-day trades.

I say we still go after LeBron and Love via a LeBron opt-in and trade. Offer Turner, Harkless, and 2021, 2023, and a RTS 2024 1sts. That lineup should be enticing for LeBron and might actually be his best option to win. If not, just roll with that squad.

I think we get too good a deal here.
If Dallas is ok with 12 and 13 for 5, essentially, then Clippers are going to send Harris, 12, 13 to Dallas for 5 and we get cut out. I'm sure Dallas would easily find a taker to give them assets for Harris equal to our 2019 1st, Swanigan and Layman if they wanted. Or, would be more than happy to have Harris. And Clippers wouldn't have to eat Leonard in the deal.

If you remove Philly, and we do Faried for 14, maybe we can then send Faried and 14 to Dallas for Harris. We get Harris basically for nothing. Denver saves $$. LAC send 12, 13, Harris for 5(seems steep, maybe we send them 24), and Dallas gets 12, 13, 14 for 5.

I don't think Dallas wants salary back, they want to make a run at Julius Randle, Jabari Parker, and other RFAs. It'll likely take another 1st to get Dallas to move from 5 to 12&13.. Heard Harris has a decent chance of getting moved too. Swanigan is a valuable piece to get back for Dallas too.

Maybe they don't want salary, but Harris at 16 a year is great value for them to take on. Because that's easy to be moved elsewhere, for that additional 1st potentially. And he's not yet 26

Except Dallas does essentially get a 1st (actually two) for Harris, as we send them a first, and Swanigan.

Is there a google chrome extension that blocks courtney lee trade proposals? The amount of discussion about a shitty journeyman vet whose overpaid is astounding to me.

Lmao. The people that cry about him ard absolutely rediculous. He fits perfectly with poor TPE, is a 40% 3pt shooter, and can defend. He'd bee a major upgrade over Connaughton.

There's a lot of talk about taking back Faried to get #14. I'd rather have Lee than Faried, and NY would likely swap them. So giving up #24 for #14 and Lee is a great move.

The fact that people cry about this dude is rediculous, and seems short-sighted.

Chris Broussard and Colin Cowherd just randomly mentioned how well Love would fit on the Blazers. Seemed odd and out of nowhere that they would bring it up en route to talking about the finals beatdown, and then just in passing.

I’m fine with love as long as Collins isn’t in the deal.

Most likely it's because of Love's Portland connection more than anything.

What I'd like to see--use the TPE to get Faried and the 14 from Denver, then wait a couple months and bundle Faried and Aminu (both expiring contracts) along with Swanigan and a pick in exchange for Love.

They mentioned it, and it's the obvious connection, but it just seemed odd that two national guys would even mention it at all, as it really had nothing to do with what they were talking about.

I've always liked Lee's game plus he's a seasoned vet much like Gordon and the guard that comes off the bench form the clips? cant think of his name?

If we can find a way to land Julius Randle and Wayne Ellington, while bringing back Nurk, think we should be in the running for 50 wins and the second round again. Randle is gonna blow up on a good team and would at least provide some semblance of hope to break through our ceiling. A big man trio of Nurk-Randle-Collins has some potential.

Ellington was an elite shooter last year for really cheap-- something we can obviously use.

Would require quite a bit of maneuvering with the cap however, and not sure we have that ability.
