Don't have to believe me. Not bragging about something cool. Just that I responded to a tweet from Nate Jones about rings or tank mentality, and, well, probably shouldn't have tagged dame. Didn't expect that level of activity from a simple reply.

What Lillard is saying is that those wanting him traded will regret it and I agree as I regret we have such idiotic fans that post that kind of crap.

Dame needs to quit replying to fans on twitter. He's a big boy and hasn't delivered when it's counted. Lot's of excuse makers for him. I love Dame but if he leaves, See ya. Part of his appeal is his loyalty, not his shooting percentage when the shit's on the line.

Nowhere did he say he wanted to leave.

Said enough. Dame needs to play with elite players to ever win a Ship. Most players these days are all about winning a Ship, almost as if they're entitled to it before the end of their careers. Hopefully we put some pieces around him to get it done

100 twitter users can sound like a lot moet than they are. The thousands that realize trading him would be foolish do not speak as loud. Guessing he is smart enough to know haters gonna hate no matter where he goes.

His reply was to the ones that said they wanted him traded and that they will regret it if it happens. He has always indicated he wants to play in Portland.

"These days"?! What were the mindsets of Sir Charles and The Mailman when they went to defending champions to end their careers? Every player wants a ship look at Clyde... the examples go on and on.

I could think of one shot that counted in about .9 seconds. A lot quicker than it took me to think of one where he missed when it counted.

This has happened well before social media existed.

I understand that, but social media has made it so easy to say something ambiguous have it put out there every where and then the regular media has a field day with it. It’s scary to me how quickly something gets out on Twitter or Facebook and all of a sudden it becomes truth, or news. I’m not really trying to go down the “fake news” route. Just saying I think social media has made it easier for something like this to become a story.

It’s very, very interesting to me. We have so much information, more than ever in the history of the earth, but our brains are required to work less and less because of that. So while I’d argue that almost all of know more than any of our ancestors ever did, we have very steadily lost the ability to really think, and problem solve. Most of us are very good at regurgitating information, but have quite the predicament figuring things out on our own.

I work with engineers, and researchers from MIT, and some very smart people but I even see the same thing amongst us. The older group is so much better at figuring out tough problems, and the younger guys like me well We’re much better at just doing math in our heads, or redesigning things, rather than starting from scratch. I find it fascinating, we have An interesting group of different world views from liberal to conservatives, to extremely religious, to atheist and while I like to think most of us are pretty smart, it’s always interesting to me how the older guys can get together and knock out problems so fast. Part of that really could just be experience, but I think part of it is that they are just much better st talking through issues than we are.
