I don't know why people keep saying this. There is no way Doncic slips to 4. I'd be willing to bet huge money on it.

I think if Suns pass on him, Sac takes him.

A dip? A lot of players do that.

Last rumor I heard was Sac town wants Bagley, not impressed with Luka. Sounds like a smokescreen to me.

Then again it was probably one of the many clickbait articles from Bleacher report so who knows.

Curious question. ASSUME (not going to happen), that Blazers decided to rebuild and trade Dame and CJ and ended up with the 1st and the 4th pick in this draft. Who would you want them to take and why? (BPA? Risky over proven? Project players?)

So. A lot of players have wasted movement then. That dip is wasted movement. That split second where you bring the ball down instead of up is waiting for the defense and giving them a better opportunity to close out.

The dip is essential to shooting rythym. It allows the ball to move upward with the body and allows the body to transfer momentum into the ball. Most players don't catch and immediately bring it to their set point, and if they don't dip, they freeze with the ball there.

Curry dips, and has one of the quickest releases in the game. The dip doesn't slow down a shot, that's a myth. It would be easier to show you in person.

The shot is as fast as the jump, and catching and immediately going directly to the set point is often faster than the jump, and the ball usually will stop at the set point instead of traveling through the set point, which makes the shot just as slow, but also makes the shot un-rhythmic.

I'd want them to trade down from 1 into (somehow) two picks in the 9/10 region, and take Bamba, Bridges, and Sexton.

Reminds me of February when all us Blazer fans get pumped about all the exciting moves that will be made at the trade deadline.

Also, wasted movement is fine as long as the shot is quick enough, in rhythm with the body, and the release is consistent and clean.

Looks like Woj won’t be tweeting any spoilers. Neither will Shams. I think it’s a trap and will still have my phone turned off.
