    A man and his mother were doing yard work in California when a woman unleashed a diatribe against Mexicans, and — invoking President Trump — called them rapists, animals and drug dealers.

    The encounter was captured in a video that was posted on Twitter early Monday morning and had been viewed more than two million times by night.

    In the video, which lasts about 35 seconds, the man — identified as Esteban Guzman — went back and forth with the unidentified woman, who at one point appeared to make a vulgar gesture with her middle finger.

    “Why do you hate us?” Mr. Guzman asked.

    “Because you’re Mexicans,” the woman said.

    Mr. Guzman told the woman that “we’re honest people.” She laughed and countered with her own impressions: “Rapists. Animals. Drug dealers.” She mentioned the president, who has at times made similar remarks about illegal immigrants coming across the border, often from Mexico.



    Mr. Guzman defended himself during the exchange, asking, “How many people have I raped?” and, “How many drugs have I dealt?”

    It’s unclear when the encounter occurred, or what happened before or after the video recording.

    Mr. Guzman did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Monday night. The Guardian reported that he works in information technology and does construction on the side.

    Mr. Guzman, 27, was with his mother clearing a yard in Running Springs, about 80 miles east of Los Angeles, when the woman approached, The Guardian said.

    The woman told his mother to “go back to Mexico,” Mr. Guzman told The Guardian. “She said we were all illegals,” he said. “I told her, ‘I’m a United States citizen.’”

    Tensions concerning race and immigration have been playing out across the country, as President Trump has taken a hard line against illegal immigration.

    The interesting thing to me, is where are these people? I haven't seen them myself (I'm white and not the intended target). The sad thing is people like this walk among us every day. We dont even know it until they let people know how they really feel. What a waste of a human life. This woman is a piece of work.

    I just don't get how people can immediately judge someone without knowing who they are.

    I gave @SlyPokerDog a chance, then realized he was just a crazy mutt.

    They're out there. I've seen it a few times directed at my father and he's pretty damn white, his only "crime" is that he has a slight spanish accent.

    Yes, I know first hand that that behavior has been occuring long before Trump, it's just that some are hearing Trump and thinking that that behavior is now acceptable.

    Do you really have to ask this silly question???? Most of these idiots realized it wasn’t acceptable to engage in this kind of behavior until the ass clown in the Oval Office made it “okay” to be rascist. That fat, stupid bitch deliberately went looking for her 15 minutes of fame because she now realizes there are a lot more shit stains just like her and she needed their approval of her hatred.

    I've had many conversations with many people about the Mexican people. Mainly due to them knowing I have lived in Mexico for a total time of two years.

    I can not count the times the USA people's attitude was very negative towards the Mexican people in general. I would call it prejudice.

    I recieved so many acts of kindness from the Mexican people while living there. It is embarrassing how we treat the Mexicans in this country.

    Here are two questions for you to ponder.

    If a total stranger from another country (Mexico, or any country) came to your house asking for directions. Would you help them? Would you invite them into your house for coffee or a beer. They do in Mexico, I know this because they helped me, and offered me a beer, sometimes the only beer they had.

    I don't know whether to post in this thread of the trump hired for low wages thread. But...

    In 1980, I built a new house. The foundation was on a hillside pretty complicated and I needed a contractor. I proceeded to get a few bids, I think I had two when Angel came in with a bid
    way less than the other two. A Mexican fellow but we were able to communicate, he had a California Contractor license, so I hired him. In the end I was please with the result and he did the job
    at the contracted price on time. WTH is not to like? So this lady is a fool, and if you blame Trump for her being a fool, then she is not the only fool in the scene.

    Now I do know Angel hired all Mexican workers, or they appeared so to me, but I have no idea what he paid them nor do I know if they were legal documented workers. Another Contractor did tell me later, Angle was a great guy but he hired illegals. I hired a legal Contractor and did not hate Mexicans. What do you find wrong with this? They could have been Polish!

    The Mexicans that come over, they really aren't the cream of the crop of the country.

    If homeless Americans from the United States started going into Mexico and invading their cities and assuming they are citizens of Mexico, Mexicans wouldn't hold Americans in the highest regard (as if they do anyways). Its like when shitty american tourists go around the world and ruin the world-view of Americans for europeans.

    Europe thinks Americans are trash, based on the dumbass tourists that go over there.

    dude...they do and always have...difference is once they're in Mexico, they're no longer homeless or living in the cities...alcoholic expats are all over the globe...don't fool yourself into thinking americans there are at the Hilton and driving rented cars to discos...you'll find more in dive bars
