Gerald Green was doing something like bagging groceries until the Rockets picked him up and he ends up scoring 12 ppg off the bench for them.
You conclude some scrub is a better shooter because of his stats in a low level league overseas... and McBuckets has shot over 40% 3pt every year in NBA! lol
Underrated veteran signings are something I've wanted Neil to improve. This seems like someone that could fill a roll and a need at the NBA level.
3pt shooting is 3pt shooting. If he's shooting 54% overseas in the best league other than the NBA, then I'm sure he could easily match Doug's 3pt shooting clip. Plus, he's better than Doug in many other areas of the game.
Man, I lose more respect for your basketball knowledge every time you post... it’s a complete different game... this scrub has never dominated at any level... McBuckets averaged 27 in college... and do you even watch games or just look up cockamamie advanced stats and arm measurements to decide who is good... McBuckets is a good scorer from anywhere on the court, not just 3
I saw Baylor...I saw Barry...I saw Erving...I saw them in person on YouTube...I say this...This is definitely it...This is James Nunnally!!!! Olshey can walk safely in public again!!
Last season in Turkish BSL and EuroLeague play he shot a combined 51.4 percent from three, according to RealGM. Combined 108 for 210. Probably a Jake layman replace
Excited? No. Intrigued? Yes. Mario Elie didn't get to the NBA until he was 27 and ended up playing in the NBA for 10 years.
There is not one player on the current team this scrub should get minutes over... what a waste of a roster spot
Yeah, it’s sad how Portland gets shut out of the free agent sweepstakes every year, and can never pull off a big trade. We always end up with the leftovers that nobody else wants.
Bones thinks some 28 year old scrub that has never made it in the NBA, and averaged 9 ppg in a low level league in Europe is going to help Blazers able to win a playoff series... hahahahahahahahahahaha!
What's with the personal attack dude? First, you try to make a point by saying "it's a completely different level", but then you contradict yourself by referencing college, which is a lower level than the EuroLeague? Arm measurements? Since when is that a part of this discussion? Why even stray off your point like that if it's strong enough? Dominating at a certain level doesn't mean anything, because a lot of players dominating at a lower level aren't good enough to do so at the next, and suck because they can't adjust to a different role. Should we go sign Jimmer Fredette too? If McDermott was such a good scorer from inside the arc, why do those shots translate to a 97 ORTG over the course of his career? Stats reflect production, and he hasn't produced anywhere except for 3. And he doesn't pass, or defend, or rebound...
Stop trying to cause drama and be respectful. Your point is weak.. so you're resorting to childish finger pointing with no substance. Your better than that. Have a real discussion, or don't have one at all.
Sorry bro, I can’t have a real discussion with someone who thinks signing James Nunnally is a good thing
Undrafted players are how most teams keep payroll down. Most teams try guys like this all year, until they find someone who lasts. Paul Allen likes to go Cadillac with 100% drafted players, so we get all capped out. Of course, knowing "non-Trader Bob" Olshey, this is his big summer acquisition. Vacation time!
FTFY. I'm not even saying put him in the rotation. I like him as injury insurance because he can shot 3s efficiently on high volume and defend. Do you not think he can do those two things?
So you really think a dude who shot 54% from 3pt in EuroLeague won't be able to shoot 3s in the NBA? Damn, I guess Doncic is gonna be a 15% 3pt shooter then.
