You and millions of other people. I'm not eatching a national broadcast bro. Just gonna stay tucked away with my Blazers and that's it.
Same. I'm a Blazers fan for life. The rest of the league can go eat a Costco sized bag of dicks. Not watching one single non-Blazers game.
You would've won the Magic bet last season. Maybe you'll be right about this too. But I really don't think so. Showtime is back in LA. NBA ratings were great in 80s because of Lakers/Celtics. Having star players on big market teams has always been the formula for success in the NBA. That's why they fixed lottery to send Ewing to the Knicks instead of the Kings.
I knew the warriors would be a lock for the title before this move. Now if cousins comes back healthy that’s just gonna be insane. I guess my issue with olshey is he hasn’t set us up well for the future for when the warriors crumble apart. It just sucks for dame and really any other all stars during this time who want to win. Nothing you can do about it. It’s just so one sided. I can already see it. Warriors and Boston in the finals next season with the warriors taking it all again. But then they have to figure out what they are doing with Klay and draymond.
Yeah, I easily would've. But forum bets aren't productive and aren't worth the hastle and annoyance brought to them. So quit trying to bet all the goddamn time. You keep referencing the "formula"... The "formula" has never produced THIS. This is uncharted territory for any sports league.
Some media guy posted Boogie is going to the Warriors to rehab. Might take a little longer for a man of Boogie's size to recover from this ACL injury.
Okay. If Cousins was really healthy and able to make an impact, I think he would've signed a max contract somewhere. If he's good this year, he won't turn down money to play elsewhere in 2019-20. I think this signing is him admitting that he's not as good as he once was. Reminds me of our Festus Ezeli signing. Cousins' better days are behind him and he just wants a $5.3 million ring.
This is what you said: The last time the Lakers were good, you didn't have the best C in the NBA signing for $5M to join a team with 4 other all-stars that had won 3 of the past 4 championships. I don't think I ignored that. I mean, don't you admit that you thought the Warriors will win in 2019 before this signing? Has anything changed?
An ALL STAR C signed for $5M to join a dynasty with 4 OTHER ALL STARS, because of the lack parity and competitive balance. That lack of such things make the league broken.
I understand the frustration @BonesJones And others feel, but @KingSpeed is right on this one. NBA ratings will continue to grow with these moves. Ratings are controlled by big markets, not Blazer fans. Big markets have fans all over the place.
Big market fans don't outweigh casual and smaller-market fans, and most big market fans tuned in anyway.
