Really! Well I don't think they actually cloned Bronson. Actor Robert Bronzi is the lead and is known as Bronzi because his extreme likeness to Bronson.
It would be very difficult to make a good movie based on an historical event, that might be the epitome of, piss poor planning preceding predictable pathetic performance.
There was a minor bit of Dunkirk that was more personal than historical. If the entire point of it had been about one of them trying anything evil or ruthless to survive it might have been more entertaining. As it was it was just a well filmed near documentary. Nolan is still a great filmmaker.
Just started watching a really good miniseries on cable called "C. B. Strike". It's about an English Private Eye investigating a murder case in England.
Just watched the new Tomb Raider movie. I like it better than its predecessors. While Angelina Jolie is probably a better "lady croft" Alicia Vikander is the better Lara.
Roman J Israel. Denzel was fabulous as usual. Story had a good foundation but they didn't create quite enough tension. Still a decent movie.
Took the family to see the Incredibles sequel last night. Very fun. The short at the beginning was a tad disturbing for a minute though.
I enjoy Western movies, so I watch them when I can. I highly recommend the German/Austrian Western, "The Dark Valley."
Watched Mad Max Fury Road for the third time. I really enjoyed it. Beautiful 3d and Atmos sound. I didn't really like it the first time, second was ok....third not too shabby.
I'm a huge fan of the Mad Max movies and Fury Road did not disappoint me. If you want beautiful women, violence, hard rock, and guys (and women) kicking ass, then that's the movie for you!
Less trying to figure out wtf is going on and more time enjoying the spectacle of it. Was pissed he didn't get to drive his car much the first time I saw it.
Rotten tomatoes isn't the be all end all but it had maybe a 9 percent critic score and 12 audience score...no thanks.
