First of all, why the fuck would we trade with the enemy?

If for some inexplicable reason, Olshey decides to trade with the purple and piss, we BETTER get Kuzma. No Kuzma, no deal!

If Dame is actually saying he wants out, and I'm not convinced that he is, but if he is.... we need to trade him. Not dealing with another LaMucas.

I'd rather have him sit on a bench doing nothing for 3 years and lose him for nada than for him to be traded to the Lakers. We trade him to LA, I'm no longer a Blazers fan. Simple as that. Also moving to Canada if Trump is elected.

I don't think the Lakers want to give up too much. In their minds they can clear enough cap space by next summer to add Klay or Kawhi and give up nothing. If I were them I would stay patient. Let their younger players get better then add a star to the mix. It s always a gamble to wait, but LBJ seems to be fine with the one year rebuild.

Have the Lakers asked? I believe so but almost every team in the league would ask if they thought they had the assets to offer....which I'm not sure the Lakers do and even if they did (Ingrahm/Kuzma/? + picks), I'm not sure they would do that..

The Knicks? Mr. Smith should stop embarrassing himself. Of course they would like him. They have NOTHING to trade.

If the Lakers come and say Ingram / Kuzma / Picks for Dame, the Blazers should just hang the phone. If they say Ingram / Kuzma / Picks for CJ - there is maybe a discussion to be had - and I like CJ a lot.

The problem with all of the Lakers young players is that I'm not even sure any of them will be All-Stars. Let alone All-NBA or All-NBA first team.

I like how Jalen Rose brings up 2 players who removed their teams info from their twitter feed/unfollowed them, but doesn't mention that Dame is at the practice facility watching the rookies.

He mentions that Dame responded with "happy camper", but it wasn't about if he wanted to stay or not, but was asked IF he was traded to the Lakers, how would he feel (given his previous comments about rather staying in Portland for his whole career and not winning a title, vs title chasing).

I swear to god, the sports media all got boners for Laker rumors the second LeBron announced he was signing there. Any and every rumor is the truth, no matter how much of a stretch their logic is.

From a national perspective is it really that much of a stretch to think he might want out?

-2 straight sweeps in the playoffs
-No real way to improve the team until his contract is up
-wants to win (like all great athletes)

These are facts that all reasonably could lead to a player like dame looking for the door.

What we know from eating sleeping and breathing blazers is he would never actually do that (at least not yet). But from an outside perspective it’s not that unreasonable.

I don't think there's any doubt that Dame has to be going WTF? when he considers Portland's off-season so far. It's the opposite of what Olshey 'promised' and the opposite of making Portland more competitive
