    Nice Post.
Swanigan close to leading the summer league in rebounds....
    and getting his shot blocked....
    and in unforced turnovers :(

A little? More like he moved in, put down a security deposit and signed a 12 month lease.

Plus 4 or 5 more the score keeper missed. I wonder of he only sees the same game feed as us - others talking over the broadcast AND TAKING UP HALF THE SCREEN, disorienting overhead and trailing camera angles, etc.

So I had a family thing today and didn’t watch, reading this it sounds like Baldwin was awesome as usual! Swanigan wasn’t very good, Simons, Trent we’re ok? And layman was good.

    Who won?

Because of his story, you want so much for him to be able to make it but his lack of explosiveness and slow feet is killing that. The slow feet thing really doesn't get fixed much so about all he can do is learn to quick shoot like ZBo....and it may be a little late to start learning that.

Still love his hustle. Just don't know where he finds minutes. I thought it was an odd pick at the time since Olshey had just spent 2 picks to get Collins....then to draft another big when there were other needs.

I almost wonder if that number can be correct, because the next highest is 18. I think it's more that they don't play Swanigan and PapaG at the same time...

Swanigan did get 5 assists, so there's that.

I wish he'd put his chest into people when he has the ball, because the fade away off-handed junk hook isn't getting it done, especially since it's blocked too often.

But, in this game I was mostly bothered by the unforced hands of stone turnovers.

Still, I think he can get better.

We are going to win the whole thing... I want that summer league trophy in Portland. Another great game by Wade and like I said yesterday, Jake should be dominating this game. Not bad for Simons and Trent Jr.

Seriously what if Layman pops? I love watching this guy for some reason. I’ve always thought his stroke was pretty and his athleticism is undeniable. I need him to be a contributor because if he earns the minutes he’s doing something really special

Collins had 5 blocks in 20 minutes. That's NINE blocks/36, wow!

To me, he plays like a kid who was the best player on his middle school team, only because his middle school team was crap. And he thinks because he was a big fish in a tiny pond, he'll be a big fish in an ocean. That's not a fat joke, it's a joke about how game makes it look like his ego is out of check with reality.

Hard work is great, and he should be commended for keeping the weight off, but what now? He's not quick, he's not agile, and he's not athletic. At least Zach Randolph was quick and tricky. The only thing Caleb has going for him is that he runs into his own teammates getting rebounds.

Let's start planning the parade route. Seriously, with GSW all but guaranteed the next 3 or 4 championships, we should thumb our nose at the noncompetitive nature of the NBA and celebrate our hard earned summer league success.

Of course the national media would mock us as soccer moms, but fuck them. The joke would be on them. They just wound't realize it.

He was also best player on the second best SL team last year...

He might be like my fave Boban Marjanovic: only useful when he's the centerpiece, and he can only be the centerpiece of a non-NBA team.

There still might be a place for him as a stretch 5 in some lineups. Sort of like a 50-year old Draymond.
