The NBA is talking about lifting the minimum age restriction and allowing high school kids in the 2021 draft. If that’s the case whatever year they allow this you’ll have a full draft of college and high school kids available. If possible be nice to pick up another 1st rounder in that draft

Sweet, maybe we can get a once in a lifetime center.

I'm sure everyone is thinking this, but drafts like this almost double the number of good prospects. I would doubt anyone would give up a first rounder in this draft easily now, but agree that if you can get one, it's more valuable than the average year.

I was thinking about this earlier, maybe getting multiple 2nd round picks is the way to go in that draft. It will be deep with a lot of potential, but also a lot of question marks.

The problem is that EVERYONE already knows that this is coming down the pipe. Which means GMs will be especially stingy with 2021 picks.

It also means, however, that fringe college guys in the 2020 draft will also know about it... Which makes me think we might be able to get some great value in that draft, instead...

This is one of the reasons the Trent trade was frustrating to me. We gave up Miami's 2021 2nd rounder.

We will use our 2021 first round pick to offload $24million a year deal that Olshey will have given Meyers the year before.

The 76ers have Miami's unprotected 2021 pick. We should trade CJ to them and get that as part of the package back.

If we could draft LeBron's kid, would LeBron take a pay cut in his waning years to play on the same team? Rhetorical question, obviously.

Yep and that could end up between 31 and 40 which in that draft could be like 16 to 25 in a normal draft.

I very much doubt Sixers would want CJ.

That was a genius trade with Suns though.

I have gone over this scenario in my head what happens if NO can’t trade Leonard and then when his contract is up, gives him another one. Can I deal with that Like an adult should. I’m not sure...

Heck, if LeBron made it known he wanted to create a father/son duo on the same NBA team, his kid might be the number one pick in the draft.

Ain't that a kick in the nuts.

L@kers could draft his son, then sign on Lavar Ball (who is better than Jordan I have heard) and probably get the rest of the Balls for free. I would pay money to see how that one worked out.
