Not true. First of all, the building was initially occupied during hours when it was closed. Second, they went outside on public land and defecated and urinated. Third, they did not clean up their trash. That doesn't even get into the part about brandishing weapons with threats of using them. I believe one man even said that he wouldn't be taken alive and he wasn't. He was killed by state police with a loaded weapon in his possession. The building was owned by the United States government which means all of us, not some of us. The land near by was sacred American Indian land. This also was defaced. These guys were nothing more than thugs who committed a criminal act thinking they could use force of arms to get their way.
It's not illegal to shit in the woods. They brandished weapons for self defense and made that point clear. Ever heard of Waco, Texas? They didn't just bust into the building guns pointed, and force everyone out. They never pointed a weapon at anyone throughout the whole ordeal. You can split hairs and produce technicalities all day but it doesn't make their actions any worse than what they actually are. Terrorism is a far cry from what they did.

I don't think anybody on this forum has defended racism in your posts. Nobody defends it. As much as you say white people don't get it time and time again, I think you don't get it. Yes there are people out there who are racists of all colors against others. Okay they suck. Some people really give a shit about the flag, why? I don't know. Some feel strongly though, especially veterans but not all. Why don't you understand them? when they watch their favorite athletes in the NFL and see them kneel for the anthem, some dudes take that as serious disrespect. Now we can break this down many ways. Everybody is different. A lot of people see disrespect differently, sometimes simple gestures as disrespect or something you would never know to be disrespectful. I am sure some are racists but a lot of these guys have been watching the NFL for a long time, the NFL has long time been mostly black as has the NBA so I HIGHLY doubt on an NBA forum such as this there are people defending racism. I also highly doubt EVERYBODY who watches the NFL and said they would stop watching because of the kneeling are racist. To be serious for a second, lack of a decent education will hurt any race. Meth making cousin fucking middle school dropouts are a tremendous negative to society. It sucks that we laugh at people who don't know better. I'm all for personal responsibility but we need to give everyone the same tools to succeed. I don't know how we do that quite honestly.
