Given that choice, I’m definitely going with eating the biscuit.

Damn, I missed a lot apparently.

@dviss1 i deleted yours as well as gronk since you guys were saying the same thing to each other, so if I delete one, I have to delete both. I deleted over a dozen messages from multiple parties. I don't mind sharing my reasoning, but do also remember I'm not on here all the time. Still like you, my guy.

@honkicracker It's just like Sly said, I did it to pretty much say "I am watching this. Please curtail it." Not to get adulation (because I know/knew I wasn't going to). I deleted most/all the messages to 1) get the argument off of here, and 2) hopefully make people understand that it's multiple people, and not one person, igniting, and elongating the argument. Again, we are all adults, and if we were able to restrain, we wouldnt need moderation in the first place. But we're human. Hell, I've had to be moderated. Shit happens.

If I missed anyone else, I'm sorry. But that's the gist of it.

Since Carmelo went to Houston, we might even just lock this thread up. We'll see.

Since this thread has gone off the rails, I would like to say that the end of Force Awakens leading into Last Jedi makes me think it was all a dream sequence.

Luke is still alive, and he and Rey are just on Achoo island running around like Yoda and Luke did on Dagobah.

I know, right? It's almost like it's the TV show version of a movie (like Ferris Bueller's day off for example).

Sure it was called Star Wars, and had the names of the characters, but it wasn't really the same.

This thread was never on the rails.

This thread is the greatest thread in S2 history. This thread should be cherished as such.

This thread represents everything S2 is.... and isn’t.

Read this and go schizo and/or never return to S2.

Oh boy..... How can you get more "Fiber" in a breakfast thread than that?

"New and Improved with Extra Fiber and apparently Biscuits."

    Here's the best thing:

    Houston lost all their defense.

    Ariza
    Luc

    What's boutsta happen with Capella?

Then... they add the one of the worst defenders in the NBA.

    :biglaugh:

bro....the insult rule is simple...you do test it.I've tested it. .in OT it's been the culture since I joined here but on the basketball page...we should all try to think before insulting people personally....I've been triggered....I've deleted my own unnecessary snarky posts...if we all just talk about the subject matter without the triggering the board would be more fun. I have to keep a few people on ignore because they just aren't enjoyable to debate with ….I look at it like not yelling in a movie theater or cussing in church...things I've been able to adapt to without compromising my inner urge to break a rule. I have zero tolerance with one guys insults around here concerning me....I just keep him on ignore. The forum needs your humor and expertise..it doesn't need either of our tempers though

I have tested it in the past and after that bullshit with Nate I decided to not let others make me skirt that close to the line again. Since then, I feel like I've been good at eloquently staying on the right side of the line.

Feel free to disagree, but I feel like I didn't break any rules in this thread and frankly, I think that someone who fucking calls me a "circle jerker" is committing the crime, not the one telling him to get outta here with that bullshit. To equate what I said to what he said is crap to me and to delete both of our posts "out of fairness" is weak! We're not in the same boat, nor cut from the same cloth. I've been completely open about NO being in make or break status (with me) this year. Same with Stotts. But if I don't admonish Neil (I've been doing plenty of that since Ed Davis) I get called a fucking circle jerker... So if I can't tell him to GTFO (something that's not a personal insult) after he breaks the insult rule by saying we're getting off jerking in a circle... I guess I gotta walk on eggshells when I respond.... Or just not respond.

Not sure why I need the soliloquy...

Frankly his posts SUCK and everyone here knows it.

Wonder if I broke a rule there... Don't think I did... :dunno:

While I understand your point, I also let people know I was stymieing the argument. Therefore, I took out most if not all of the participants in the argument. I said that I deleted multiples of posts that had to do with the argument, I never actually said you broke the insult rule. I was just curtailing the argument.
