Varies by store policy. There is no law requiring it. Checks have also become very obsolete as it has probably been at least 10 years since i ordered any checks from my bank.
Yeah..when I wrote checks that was a constant. Now with a debit card, there are places that do still check ID..just the other day buying a pizza, they checked my ID. If I go to Safeway or Freddys, for under 40 or 50, they do not, but if you tickle one hundred, they will. Funny that people have such a hard time understanding Trump, and what he is intending to convey.
Trump misspoke and made a false claim. For a guy that claims "fake news" everyday can you explain why he lies over 16 times a day and misleads people on what is actually true. Get off the media and start blaming the guy that is a constant liar. I shop every day of the week and have seldom ever been asked for ID fir anything. His statement was false and misleading. Maybe he was thinking about when he was buying pot.
I’ll gladly drink your Hamms if/when you invite me aboard. I was homebrewing back in the days when the craft beer industry was still shitting it’s diapers, and I became quite the beer snob, brewing beers most folks had never heard of to that point. But once the ball really got going the whole craft beer thing got ridiculous. It got to be about the concept and less about the execution. Everybody wanted to do something no one else was doing and and suddenly the market had very few really good beers and a plethora of mediocre stuff. Now days (when I actually drink) I usually go for the Pabst, Oly and Hamms, especially in the summer. No beer EVER tasted better to cut the dust after a long hot day. If it was good enough when I was 16, it’s good enough almost 50 years later.
Hahahaha..ahh, I do not give the public education system as much credit as you, I believe it is taught as a primary language. On a serious note, I was talking to my Daughter in law this AM, and found out that this district no longer grades kids in the fourth grade. They only give a "meets standards, or does not meet standards" report card. If this is not gibberish, I will eat your hat.
Ugh. The stuff I drank as a 16 year old (whatever I could get my hands on) I wouldn't touch now. barfo
My father and uncles all had pubs after WWII...in the 50s I used to go down to my dad's pub as a kid and get chewing gum...I remember the smell of Hamms beer really well...folks back there drank Hamms, Storz, PBR, Bud, Schlitz and Miller.....when we got turned 18 we took trips to Colorado to get that fancy new beer Coors.....you're right...in a hot cornfield driving a combine or harvester...any of those cold beers was refreshing....but we rolled Bull Durham cigarettes too. Now even with all the micro brews I still prefer Grolsh pilsner and for the micro brews..Alaskan Amber..and I've always liked Guiness
I gave it all up 8 months ago....probably never drink another drop again...been a great change for me in life so now it's all just good memories
This is so dumb Cult 45 is alive, but they're the minority and slowly dwindling....enjoy your brief (yet extremely damaging) moment of power. Idiots.
I grew up on Heidelberg with the little keg battles. For a lower cost beer it had pretty good taste. Went camping on Lake Shasta back in the late 70's and all the people down there wanted to know what this exotic looking beer was and we told them it was comparable to Heineken. Later on the go to beer was Budweiser.
I started getting liver spots on my hands and face....after giving up booze they're all gone...completely...sold me
I was working with a bunch of Hispanics for a couple days and their go to beer was Mondelo. Must admit, it tasted pretty good.
...I'll drink beer up till 6 pm and no later (BPH), otherwise me and my bride will share a bottle of wine. (actually tonight it's "whine" because the Sox are kicking the shit out of the Yanx )
I am in Cathlamet now. I will be in Scappoose by mid August. Due to futzing with the VA it will be at least late August before I do the the West Linn/OC thing. You know how the PM works when I get with in range.
