    Dustin and Nate are pissed about Conor/Khabib. Apparently they wanted to be a part of that card for the PPV points.

    Apparently the UFC sent Nate a driver and that’s the reason why he was late.

    For the life of me, I can't think of a realistic main event for UFC 230 in NYC.

    I don't think the UFC will put one of the lower weight classes or a woman as the headliner. 145 belt is tied up with Holloway...don't think he'll be cleared by then...155 will be on the line in October. 170 will be on the line in September. 185 is tied up up Whittaker/Gastelum in February. 205 is open and heavyweight is open.

    So that leaves either an interim 145 lb title shot, a 205 lb title shot, or a HW title shot as the headliner. Is DC gonna be ready to fight by then? DC/Gus II ? DC/Stipe II? Does the UFC pay a big name like GSP to step up. Do they try to get Nick Diaz to headline? Are they working behind the scenes to get Jones cleared by then?

    Thoughts?

    It's MSG, so you know they are gonna try to do something big. Every other time they have visited Manhattan the UFC has made a big deal out of it. I can see them trying for GSP agains Nick Diaz 2 as the headliner. Outside of that it's hard to figure out what quality main event they could have that would generate tickets.

    I know Nate might be on the card, but I'm still not sold on him being a big needle mover. Prior to the McGregor fights he usually fought on free tv and not to huge ratings. I do not know how he will sell without fighting Conor.

    Yeah ,GSP vs Nick is something I could see them doing. Maybe GSP / Robbie? Robbie / Nick II ?

    Just a train of thought with absolutely nothing to back it up, what if they did an inaugural 165-lb weight division title fight GSP / Nick ?

    @speeds I miss the days where you had 2-3 cards in advance stickied at the top. It was much easier to go in an edit. I wanted to start a thread for UFC 228 but have no idea how you format, LOL..

    UFC 228 has 3 WMMA fights on it. I'm not a fan of that. I'll stream that one...through illegal sources...DFW don't come after me...

    DC says that if Brock can't/isn't ready to fight, he has no issues giving Stipe an immediate rematch. I love this. Please give Stipe a rematch while we wait for Brock.

    Cejudo wants TJ. If anybody in the UFC has ever deserved an immediate rematch, it was DJ...and I can't stand DJ.
