Fucking pathetic job by Chapman aided and abetted by Andujar and Bird. A gerbil has more heart than this group.

Walking sandy Leon is what led to all this and andujar needs to make a routine throw to first for an out. Now holder to finish this terrible loss and if he somehow gets they the 10th Sonny Gray in the 11th ends it for sure.

It appears Boone is not management material. After entering the ninth with a three run lead the Sox rally to win and he said he wants to use the four game sweep as a start point to ignite the team. The Effect is the opposite and Boston will use the sweep as their catalyst. When you stick it to your rival @ home and gain four games, that is when TEAM Confidences elevates.

"This is a weekend we'll look back on and hopefully be able to say, 'This is one that brought us together and allowed us to really grow even more as a club,'"
    Boone said.

And after those fine words the team boarded the Chicago bound aircraft with Boner leading the team in a group sing of "Rock My Soul in the Bosom of Abraham"

...the Yanx REALLY need to take advantage of their schedule over the next month...they have 26 games in a row vs teams who do not have a winning record.

...needless to say, the Bostin series was a crushing blow and embarrassment...if they had simply split the 4 games things would be a lot different.

The one plus the Yankees have in holding their EC lead is Oakland/Seattle/Houston have to play each other. I have little confidence in Boners ability to get this team where it needs to be. I'd have had some respect for him had he said, "look, we got our asses kicked and we need to start bowing up. One thing I always liked about Girardi was he got to the point.

After this looooooooooong weekend embarrassment, one cannot treat this young team with kid gloves.
To say the team will learn from these losses goes just so far, but the team needs direction and discipline
and I’m not sure Boner is that leader.

    ^^^ ...
I do not believe Boone has the disposition to provide Leadership. He seems to lack the skills/qualities to be a Mgr. Or lead a sinking ship to shore for repairs.

In other words, I doubt his ability; as he lacks the experience to have the Disposition of a Leader who is supposed too: set the tone, direction and provide the necessary motivation to rebound; by holding all accountable. Or by lighting a fire under the teams ass; including the entire Coaching staff.
Mgmt- 101: when all hands don't show up on deck: "Kick 'em in the ass, and make 'em feel like they were patted on the back". One way to bring the sheep back in the fold to follow the leader; but the blind is leading the blind...Then again, Leadership starts at the Top, and Boone is simply a Dummy to his masah Ventriloquist Trashman. Since Hal doesn't know what he's doing, Trashmans running amuck, grounded this ship on a sand barge....

IF- King George were around, what would he do??? Call Jim Leyland???
Imo, he'd think about calling Joe G, but woulTrashman & his master would never call Leyland; he'd be a threat to replace both Trashman and Boone.

I need to start a post, (if I can ever find t/time), on Boone. A post with attempts to define Mgmt qualifications, expectations, with evaluation of His yet defined personal signature style, or lack thereof.
