https://www.yahoo.com/sports/j-j-re...ervice-ride-week-new-york-city-001953936.html NBA player JJ Reddick finished a photo shoot in New York City, and got a car service to pick him, his wife, and her sister up. He put his bags in the back and noticed a strange smell. Later in the trip, his wife's sister tappes him on the shoulder and told him there was a woman in the back in a cage under a blanket. He had the driver stop and asked him about it. The driver denied it. They got out, JJ removed his bags but I guess didn't look under the blanket. He again asked the driver who looked under the blanket, again denied it, closed the trunk door quickly got in the car and left. WTF! Reddick called the car service who thought he was being crazy, but later told reddick the driver was suspended for having someone in the front seat. Reddick also called the cops and has not heard back.
Why the fuck would you let him leave???? I would have called the cops and not let the guy leave until they got there.
Same. I would have looked too for myself. So I could say for certain there is a woman back there in a cage. His sister and law saw it. But, if I was him I'd like to see for myself.
Holy crap, I'd have looked under the blanket and made the driver release the woman. At the very minimum I would have headed straight for the police in another taxi when I left that car service.
I guess either the driver may have had a gun or maybe the mob would have prevented anyone from doing anything about it. Who knows. Maybe JJ was thinking of his sister-in-law or of his wife.
