Gio Gonzalez is on waivers. 3 years ago I posted the Yankees should have taking a look at him. However he's either brilliant or sucks never anything in between...
Maybe DFA Cole, or put Kahnle on the Crapuano train....

Yer thoughts??? Am I blowing smoke up my ass, once again???

One of the best move the Yankees made, was the one they did not make. Thank God they did not attempt to claim Harper off waivers, IMHO Harper would be a cancer within the organization... Besides there's no room for him with no vacancies in New York....
Not sure why they didn't try to claim Murphy though, unless birds fly...???

I find it curious that the Yankees’ AAA farm team Scranton is in the exact situation as the parent club.
Each is 9.5 games out of first place. Each team’s pitching staff is in complete disarray. Yet, Yankee GM
Cashman continues to transport players on the^^^^^Crapuano train. It is becoming an exercise in
futility. He continually keeps sending the same players up and down.....with no sound results. It is
clear that these players are not ready to stick or contribute for the Yankees. What is Cashman doing?
He is placating the fans, but more so, he’s dumbing down on tweedle dee & tweedle dumb.

He gives the appearance that he’s doing his job with astounding zero results. That is actually
feigning his responsibilities to make the Yankees better!

I think the Phillies will end up with Harper. I remember Buck Showalter worried during the '12 Season that Wieters would one day be a Yankee. I'd look at Zimmerman, 1st base or DH Bird isn't doing worth a shit. With Judge out longer than excepted the Yankees could use an extra bat. I have heard rumors that the Orioles are looking at of all people Mark DeRosa to replace Buck as manager. Allegedly Baltimore is hopping on that kinder gentler new breed of manager. Should that happen get Buck to the Yankees and fire Boone.

Yeah, it'd be a nice dream to get buck here for boone.......sigh. Also, if the rumor of the nets bringing up an of and playing harper at first and he prooves adequate there I would take him in a second as a free agent to play first and jettison bird outta here!!

    ^^^^....

DeRosa as a Mgr, omg, I can only imagine how that would work out.

Zimmerman at 1st Base, great idea; one I overlooked. Imo- Zimmerman plays a fine defensive Thunder Alley, with a gold glove in his bag of tricks, and a good bat most of the time... he'd more than likely be a good rental; and/or might be capable of playing a couple more yrs; barring injury...

Watching chrome rust is more exciting than watching this team fail with men on base.

Voit at 1B is a minor leaguer but BaBoone has him at 1B. And playing this guy will cost team a run or more.....
Boone has got to go! For that matter so does Voit. And CC is in big trouble in inning 1.

Cobb is in a good rhythm after that iffy first inning. This team needs to knuckle down, but again it’s not
going to be easy. Never is!
