https://www.yahoo.com/gma/trouble-t...ller-half-112416277--abc-news-topstories.html A new poll puts Trumps disapproval rate at 63% the highest in his presidency. #Winning. Not to mention the highest disapproval rate in nearly 7 decades. Half of pollers think he should be impeached. 63% support Mueller's investigation 61% believe Trump commited a crime in directing Cohen 53% believe he has obstructed justice in interfering with Mueller's investigation 66% believe he should not pardon Manafort...67% believe manaforts quilty verdicts to be justified. 62% side with sessions over Trump in their lovers quarrel
As much as I hate trump, and I believe we dont have a president right now, these polls dont offer much. It does, however, not surprise me in any way.
Honestly though. Polls don’t really capture the current voting temperature. Maybe I’ll be surprised but this blue wave I keep hearing about is eerily familiar, I predict a sad trombone for the establishment.
If its Bernie Sanders Group on a Surf Board, the Dem's are in Trouble. Todays democratic party is different from what I grew up with by a long shot. My family and self included (until I spun off to libertarian party) was Demo primarily because of Union and SS/medicare. It was the blue collar working mans party. The social issues weren't even major party issues back then. My father if still around, would have changed to either Ind or republican party because he was not progressive. My 95 year old mother-in law is staunch democrat and is now considering a change to Ind or Repub because she dent understand the flag deal, same sex marriage, abortion, and thinks open borders or no management of boards is insane and costly. She would compromise and if the extreme left wouldn't try and drag her that way.
...nobody said it was an exact science...would you care to dispute how often they were right as opposed to being wrong ? https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/polls-are-still-accurate-they-were-75-years-ago-180968467/ https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/mar/12/polls-as-accurate-as-they-have-ever-been-study-says
Trump’s approval rating may be in single digits by the end of his term (assuming no impeachment), but I have total faith in the ability of the Democratic Party to remain totally out of touch with the core voters of this country and run another candidate crappy enough for him to beat.
He'll win it because of people scared of change. The far left, and the left will fight one another. Posts like the following show nothing has changed since 2016. When the left was surprised the basement dwelling, uneducated, violent, dumb millennials refused to vote for Clinton. Disclaimer - I haven't read enough of hoopguru's posts to know if he actually looks down on 'bernie sanders group on a surf board group' like his post suggests.
