    Ah, I see. In a famous line from "The Usual Suspects", Kevin Spacey says, "The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he doesn't exist." Sportsandwhine basically just used the first half of that line to lead in to a commentary on white America's misperception of the breadth of racism. "The devil" was ancillary to the greater point.

    Actually the referrence was not to the Quran. It was to the writings of American Muslims. The Tribe of Shabazz it is called.
    Yes I would say it is theology, teaching that the white man is the devil.

    My guess would be going back to the "devil" thing, saying that the idea of white people being the devil (metaphorically) to minorities had roots in the source he was referencing.

    All this is argument is based on misunderstandings of the other person's posts...on both sides.

    Yes these were named after a black man but as I understand it, the name wasn't a bad thing then.
    Now the liberals busting a gut to clean out the name in Washington, but they can't get it off the chart.
    The sand are in Oregon and nobody wants to spend money on frivolity.

    Three was absolutely no reason to ask me if I'm Muslim or Jewish when he FUCKING knows I was raised Baptist Christian and that I'm now agnostic.

    And @riverman if you thought this thread was made to garner new info to actually listen to and care about, you're sadly mistaken.
