I agree, and I don’t really blame Mario for the bowl game. I feel like I just haven’t seen enough to know.
There were like 4 drops total. They didn't drop any in any other quarter. Only the first. They were all good balls.
I go back and forth on Herbert. He’s good, but it’s almost like the more open someone is the less likely he is throw a good ball to him. He can be insanely accurate on tough throws and misses some where it’s hard to explain how. He’s really good overall, but I’ve heard people say he may go number 1 and, well I’m not sure. A lot better than bermeister though lol...
Need to recruit better receivers... And I'm sure he will. It was tough losing the receivers with Taggert.
The thing about Mario, he seems to a great communicator and has the work ethic himself. Players seem to like his toughness. He's been exposed to excellent fb rudiments and has a decent coaching staff. They seem pretty organized too. I say they 9/10 games this year. Next year is win they will be very good!
Herbert’s the real deal. As a Beaver fan I haven’t been this pissed about the Ducks QB since Mariota.
He got a Rocket Arm and should have taken just a bit off of some of his shorter throws. There were a couple beautiful throws right on target that were dropped. Im hoping he comes back for senior year! Because that would be one great team.
You mean Ohio State on ABC. I don't think the network knew, and they certainly didn't care, that there was another team or coaching staff on the field. Then they changed channels in the third quarter, and I couldn't even watch it.
Jaylon Redd is the #30 who caught the 1st TD. The 2nd was caught by Dillon Mitchell who wears #13. Below is a link to a regularly updated site that does a great job of displaying the current depth chart and roster. https://web.nmsu.edu/~ogden/oregon/depthchart.html STOMP
I realize how hard it is, but I’m starting to think I may have to just always cheer for pac 12 schools whenever they play against outside the conference. The conference has been a drift the last couple years. If the conference gets no respect in order to get into the CFP we have almost no margin for error.
I have always done that. Against my Oregon teams, I root for all Pac 12 teams to die. But, out of conference, I want them to win every game possible.
