Do you really believe misogyny doesn't exist, didn't affect any votes?

Also - wasn't Trump literally THE worst Republican nominee in your lifetime?

Yes both candidates were awful. Which is why I put my vote in for another.
I refused to vote for a racist. I refused to vote for political corruption.
I've said that multiple times. But I'll say it again to humor you sir.

    Again that's a spin.
The only votes misogyny effected were the voters who already decided they vote party first.

Gender had nothing to do with the Democrats losing the 2016 election.
Hell you can even look how upset most young people get when women are treated less than equal.

Now I will agree with you, if you change your statement to the following.
'There is a portion of the population who believe women belong in the kitchen. However this portion of the population didn't really effect the outcome of the election. Due to it being obvious this part of the population generally votes conservative in every election'.

Ok. Well, I won't call your view spin. I'll just call it wrong.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Hopefully your party bias doesn't lead to another 4 years of Trump.
But nothing has changed in nearly 3 years. Why should I expect it to magically be different going forward.

You really are bitter about Bernie losing, aren't you? He's not the last and only hope... there will be other candidates, assuming Trump doesn't declare himself President-for-life.

Pick one and work to get him or her elected.

I'll play along just because I'm bored.

Sure, misogyny exists, but that wasn't the reason that Hillary lost. A lot of the same goobers who voted against her were all in favor of Sarah Palin as VP. In fact, she's the only reason a lot of them were willing to support McCain for president. Hillary had a whole lot of baggage and nearly zero charisma. She had the stupidity to give the Republicans a major talking point with the email server crap. She totally ignored the significance of the blue collar workers in Michigan and Pennsylvania and spent nearly zero time trying to convince them that she could do something to make their lives better. Those issues, coupled with the baggage and lack of charisma, had a lot more to do with her losing to probably the worst Republican candidate in modern political history than the fact that she has breasts and a vagina.

Yes, Trump was literally THE worst Republican nominee in my lifetime (see above). I re-registered from Independent to Republican so I could vote against him in the primary. He's an ill-tempered, shallow-thinking bully who has no business visiting the White House let alone taking up residence there. And still, he beat Hillary. Misogyny, the Rooskies, the nasty James Comey (who's now okay), the stupid Electoral College process, and whatever other excuses the Democrats want to continue to throw out there still don't change the fact that it takes a special kind of incompetence, when you have the whole Clinton/Democrat Party Machine available to you, to lose a presidential election to a moron like Donald J. Trump.

...Lindsey Graham's comments earlier today completely contradicts his feelings about Trump and illustrates how far he and the GOP has fallen.

...and IMO, the Senate is worse than Trump if that's possible...it's freaking embarrassing.

No doubt. But my point was about Warren, not Hillary. It will be more difficult to get Warren elected than if she was exactly the same person but male.

I'll just leave this here and duck.
Impossible to have a logical discussion with someone like Barfo.
Keep pushing that company line. When Trump wins again maybe you'll ask yourself.
Was it really worth it? Doubtful.

Wait, when Trump wins again I'll ask myself if supporting Hillary in 2016 was worth it?

    That doesn't even make sense.

Unless you are trying to claim that Bernie would have beaten Trump. Which is completely unknowable. He might have won, he might have lost.

In either case though, the outcome of the 2020 election will be determined by the 2020 election.

I see it as cutting both ways for her. Sure, there are the dolts who would never vote for a woman, but there are also a lot of folks who are really eager to see the glass ceiling get broken and would vote for the female candidate over an equally qualified male.

But not over a much less qualified male?

More seriously: yes, you are correct. And similarly the comment about most 'keep em pregnant and in the kitchen' folks are going to vote Republican. Throw those two voting blocks out, the election is decided by low information voters. Subtle gender bias can effect their vote, not in the 'I'd never ever vote for a woman' way, but in finding reasons to vote for the other guy.

That's my thesis, anyway. If Warren or Harris or any other woman gets elected in 2020, I'll happily be proven (somewhat) wrong.

As a write-in candidate. I got zero votes last time, but on the positive side, the Rooskies have no dirt on me.

Why do you think the worst candidate ever was able to beat the Clinton Corrupt Machine and the 16? or so, other established candidates?

Voters are tired of politicians feeding them load of crap and never getting anything accomplished.

To me it doesnt matter what party or how eloquent a person is, any President should be measure by metric and if he can get things done that he said he would do.
    What gets measured gets done!
If you don't know where you are going, you will end up somewhere else!

The demos need a better platform to run on, one that should, imo, focus on the economy and national security (both generic issues) that the American people view as important.
If any party gets way extreme right or way extreme left, they don't stand a very good chance in winning new voters.

In business I always wanted to not only keep existing customers, but consistently recruit new ones, both take work and sometimes different strategies and often a different approach.
