I really believe Trashman had no intention to strengthen the pitching staff from outside the
farm system until he “saw” these kids were not footing the bill. Hence, Lynn & Happ. What gets me.......
Trashman has not been footing the bill with the pitching on this team. Obtaining Sonny Gray was his
faux pas which will be his imprint on this season.

Note to Boner: Prior to chewing your cud and laying eggs take a look at the score board. The Oakland team is engaged in BP in Baltimore 9-0 in the 3rd.

Stanton strikes out to end the inning, What a man to build a franchise around.

This team is laying huge egg in Minnesota tonight. No hits through 4 innings. So, tell me......Where is the
intensity, the motivation, the urgency? And the manager is chewing that cud like it’s his last meal. May be!

These Yankees have been flirting with no hits for a while in a few games of late......coming up with a few.
It’s happening again. What a way to conclude your season. These guys can’t buy a hit.

89 pitches through 5.0 IP for Odorizzi...but he has a no-hitter and 2 walks. His pitch count is high but they won't pull him while he's pitching a no-hitter.

Seve is not the problem tonight. It’s the lack of offense that’s troubling. It is always something with this team.

The swing for the fences batting approach needs to change. It's a homer or nothing lineup.

Well, they have worked Odorizzi hard. He will be over 100 pitches sometime this inning. Then we'll be into that bullpen.

Note to offense, warning track power isn't worth a shit, close only counts at horse shoes. How's a one game lead looking, you're getting there!

wow, that was quick. 102 pitches for Odorizzi after 6.0. He can't last much longer. Sevy is matching him. with almost half the pitches.

Minnesota owns the only 4 hits of the game.

1-0 Twins Kepler scores from first base on that double/ the 8 & 9 batters break through Severino.
