Earlier in the thread people are talking about building up rewards by playing games online before you go. I was just curious if those were still worth it.
Hah, I was absolutely shit faced and hungry one night in vegas. Line at white castle was like 40 people deep, ended up paying $5 for 2 sliders to some dude eating.
Yeah, I'd like to try that sometime too. Back in the day I used to like Bally's regular buffet but they closed it down about 10 years ago.
YES! Going the first week of october using MyVegas rewards. 3 free nights at the Mirage. $100 drink credit at Times Square at NYNY. 2 Helicopter rides over the strip. (Score!) 2 Buffet at Mirage. 2 Buffet at Bellagio. 2 Buffet at Aria. $200 free money to gamble with. (doubt we'll use all those buffets but I the Mirage one will be perfect for breakfast since we're staying there and I've heard both the Bellagio and Aria are nice for dinner. Fuck it, it's FREE!) Also Binion's has an app now. Staying 1 free night at the 4 Queens. (Their sister casino.) Got $50 in free food at any restaurant at Binion's or 4 Queens. Also Kingspeed hooked me up with free tickets to Absinthe.
Yes there is $5 BJ on the strip but they only pay $6 for every $5 bet for a blackjack. In downtown Vegas the BJ pays $3 for every $2 bet. This significantly increases your odds. If you like to do a little gambling save it for downtown. The slots are looser and the table games have much more friendlier odds.
The Mirage used to have the best buffet in town. Last time we went there, we tried the Mirage buffet two or three times and were deeply disappointed. Another complaint is that when gambling it takes an hour or so to get your drink and if you change machines, forget about it.
Last time I stayed at the upgraded room at the Mirage. Pretty cool they had mood lighting, air purifiers and shit like that. It was like a "Wellness suite".
I really enjoy Paris buffett because they have some bastardized versions of French food. Its gone downhill though. The best used to be the Spice Market Buffett at the Alladin (now Planet Hollywood). Always a fan of Bellagio and Wynn buffets (although not much of a buffet guy). Buffets are good for breakfast because you are hungry and don't wanna deal with waiting for your food. Gotta love the biscuits and gravy and the blintz'
You can be motherfucking degenerates someplace else where you don't foul my air. I don't spit on you, do I? I can tolerate a little incidental smoke, I just can't tolerate a lot. It's a medical issue. I presume this means if we're talking and a little spittle sprays your face you won't say a thing.
Oh yeah, if you are at the Wynn late night, go eat at Allegro. Holy shit, some of the best rigatoni I've ever had, it was fucking madness. they are open until like 4am.
The omelette station is always popular as is the Swedish pancake station. Some places even offer steak and eggs. Maybe I should say they used to offer steak and eggs. Haven't been there in about ten years.
Now, you've perked my ears up. Not that I would have ever done that (shh, my wife is looking over my shoulder so we gotta whisper).
Yeah, Las Vegas. Center of scum and villiany in the USA (other than New Orleans) I'm sure there are some cracka azz cracka indian smoke free casinos for ya!
So, you're saying that my disability doesn't count for shit with you. I'll remember that if they ever ask me again to defend you in combat while manning a machine gun.
I peg that at about the same level as hometown buffet. Them steaks ain't exactly prime, not even choice, not even select, maybe standard.
Smoking is the original nootropic. I really don't partake really, but in Vegas I'll maybe buy a pack of Dunhill Reds for the weekend. Makes drinking so much more relaxing.
