...please. It's a BS forum only to those who cannot support their narrative with anything tangible to assert their said narrative.

...instead of complaining to a moderator, try looking at yourself and then weigh the evidence objectively for a change.

"Doesn't offend me, but then I'm strong in my convictions and love of my country. I also did more to defend the flag than all the losers who oppose the kneeling such as Trump." By Lanny

I find this post to be completely offensive and insulting to so many. While the sorry bugger served his time and took his lumps,
claiming to have done more is over the top. I know one pilot that shot down two MIGs attacking my ship.
About a week later we fished his ass out of the sea. I had to go over the side and strap him up to be hosted aboard. He had both arms dislocated, one broken at the upper humerus , so he was all but completely disabled. I still know this man and he does not watch these fucking fools dishonor the flag either. Nor did anyone in this forum do more than he did, no matter what they say.

Please! You can not even formulate a question. Go find someone to care for your tripe.

...lol..actually, I have formulated a question and you have claimed there was no question even though there clearly was 5-6 times now...this would be comedic if it weren't so obviously evasive on your part.

...and don't look now but it seems I have in fact found someone who "cares for my tripe"...and considering your responses, that would seemingly be you.

This is typical of the Millions of Muslims residing here. You can tell they can't be trusted by the color of their skin and the cut of their clothes. Am I right or am I right?

Agents at dairy farm that employed suspect in Iowa slaying

BROOKLYN, Iowa – Immigration enforcement agents and state criminal investigators on Thursday visited the Iowa dairy farm that employed and housed the man charged with killing college student Mollie Tibbetts.

Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and the county sheriff's office spent two hours at Yarrabee Farms in Brooklyn, Iowa, on Thursday morning. They appeared to be looking around the property and talking to workers.

Yarrabee Farms said in a statement that it was cooperating with investigators who had asked to visit the farm. The company confirmed that federal authorities met with employees and owners for two hours, but it said it could provide no additional details due to an ongoing investigation.

Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation spokesman Mitch Mortvedt that his agency's officers were on the scene assisting investigators from the Department of Homeland Security and ICE, who took the lead. Mortvedt said that means the activity was focused on federal law and not the homicide case, which his agency is leading.

An ICE spokesman and the county's chief deputy declined comment.

The activity comes one day after The Associated Press reported that the suspect in Tibbetts' death, Cristhian Bahena Rivera, worked at the farm using the name John Budd.

Rivera was arrested and charged with murder last month in the stabbing death of Tibbetts, 20, who vanished while out for a run in Brooklyn on July 18. Investigators say Rivera was in the U.S. illegally and is subject to deportation proceedings.

The farm has about 800 cows and is owned by a prominent local family with Republican Party ties. Rivera, 24, worked there for roughly four years and lived in one of its trailers for free. The farm has said that it employs about 10 other workers, and about half of them live in provided housing.

Farm managers have said Rivera presented an out-of-state identification and a Social Security number when he was hired in 2014, and that they were unaware of his true identity until his Aug. 21 arrest.

Rivera is charged with first-degree murder, which carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison, and is being jailed on a $5 million cash-only bond while awaiting trial.

Investigators say they zeroed in on Rivera after obtaining surveillance footage showing a Chevy Malibu circling near Tibbetts on July 18. They later connected Rivera to the car, and say he confessed during questioning to approaching Tibbetts, panicking when she threatened to call police and blacking out. Rivera allegedly said he came to as he was driving Tibbetts' body in the trunk of his car to a cornfield where he buried it under stalks.

A medical examiner determined Tibbetts died from sharp force injuries.

If we charge a 20% tariff on say avocados from Mexico to generate revenue for the wall, who just paid for it?

    We did.

Mollie Tibbetts' father asks people to stop using her death in immigration debate

Ten days ago, we learned that Mollie would not be coming home. Shattered, my family set out tocelebrate Mollie’s extraordinary life and chose to share our sorrow in private. At the outset, politicians and pundits used Mollie’s death to promote various political agendas. We appealed to them and they graciously stopped. For that, we are grateful.

Sadly, others have ignored our request. They have instead chosen to callously distort and corrupt Mollie’s tragic death to advance a cause she vehemently opposed. I encourage the debate on immigration; there is great merit in its reasonable outcome. But do not appropriate Mollie’s soul in advancing views she believed were profoundly racist. The act grievously extends the crime that stole Mollie from our family and is, to quote Donald Trump Jr.,“heartless" and "despicable.

Make no mistake, Mollie was my daughter and my best friend. At her eulogy, I said Mollie was nobody’s victim. Nor is she a pawn in others’ debate. She may not be able to speak for herself, but I can and will. Please leave us out of your debate. Allow us to grieve in privacy and with dignity. At long last, show some decency. On behalf of my family and Mollie’s memory, I’m imploring you to stop.

Throughout this ordeal I’ve asked myself, “What would Mollie do?” As I write this, I am watching Sen. John McCain lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda and know that evil will succeed only if good people do nothing. Both Mollie and Senator McCain were good people. I know that both would stand up now and do something.

The person who is accused of taking Mollie’s life is no more a reflection of the Hispanic community as white supremacists are of all white people. To suggest otherwise is a lie. Justice in my America is blind. This person will receive a fair trial, as it should be. If convicted, he will face the consequences society has set. Beyond that, he deserves no more attention.

To the Hispanic community, my family stands with you and offers its heartfelt apology. That you’ve been beset by the circumstances of Mollie’s death is wrong. We treasure the contribution you bring to the American tapestry in all its color and melody. And yes, we love your food.

My stepdaughter, whom Mollie loved so dearly, is Latina. Her sons — Mollie’s cherished nephews and my grandchildren — are Latino. That means I am Hispanic. I am African. I am Asian. I am European. My blood runs from every corner of the Earth because I am American. As an American, I have one tenet: to respect every citizen of the world and actively engage in the ongoing pursuit to form a more perfect union.

Given that, to knowingly foment discord among races is a disgrace to our flag. It incites fear in innocent communities and lends legitimacy to the darkest, most hate-filled corners of the American soul. It is the opposite of leadership. It is the opposite of humanity. It is heartless. It is despicable. It is shameful

It would mean improved business for the California avocado farmers. It would also mean higher prices for American consumers.

I love avocados but I'm not allowed to eat any. Geez, my life sucks.

Number of illegal immigrants in US may be twice what's reported: Yale-MIT study
By Louis Casiano | Fox News
The number of undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. could be double what the generally accepted estimate is, according to a study released Friday by researchers from Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The U.S. government and most groups put the number of undocumented immigrants at around 11 million to 12 million, but researchers from Yale and MIT give a “conservative” number of 16. 7 million in 2016 and an average of 22 million, according to Yale Insights.

Bloomberg reported the study could validate claims made by President Trump that the real number on undocumented immigrants in the country is as high as 30 million and could offer ammunition for the president and immigration critics to take a harder stance on the issue.

Researchers used data on deportations, border apprehensions and visa overstays along with death rates and immigration rates to arrive at their conclusion. The estimate is based on data from 1990 to 2016.

“Our original idea was just to do a sanity check on the existing number,” said Yale’s Edward Kaplan, who conducted the study with colleague Jonathan Feinstein and MIT’s Mohammad Fazel-Zarandi. “Instead of a number which was smaller, we got a number that was 50 percent higher. That caused us to scratch our heads.”

“There’s a number that everybody quotes," Feinstein said, "but when you actually dig down and say, ‘What is it based on?,’ you find it’s based on one very specific survey and possibly an approach that has some difficulties. So we went in and just took a very different approach.”

The 11.3 million estimate widely cited is based on survey data, researchers wrote.

“The 11.3 million number is extrapolated from the Census Bureau’s annual American Community Survey,” MIT’s Fazel-Zarandi said. “It’s been the only method used for the last three decades.”

The findings could add fuel to the already hotly contested immigration debate. However, the researchers said their goal in sifting through the date was not political.

“Of course, our findings will get pulled and tugged in many ways, but our purpose is just to provide better information,” Feinstein said. “This paper is not oriented towards politics or policy. I want to be very clear: This paper is about coming up with a better estimate of an important number.”

I’d miss @MarAzul. It’s hard to debate any topic if those participating in the discussion agree on everything. Where’s the opportunity to learn something new in that? And he’s right about the “incivility” in this forum. Your response to him is a prime example. Personally, I’m amused as Adonal Foyle when he tells me to “gfy”. It means I’m winning the debate. Some of you folks take this forum much too personally.......

marzy doesn't discuss anything. He just whines and cries a lot. Nothing to be missed. He complains about an uncivil forum and he is one of the biggest abusers with his personal attacks of gfy and calling posters assholes. If he wants a civil forum then he should act civil.

This issue seems to be there are more moderate/liberals than heavy conservatives on this forum and it brings great distaste to the outnumbered group, as they feel they aren't able to speak freely and are shut down.

I like to argue. I like that there are people of differing opinions here. This current political climate certaintly seems to have us all especially at wits end, for one reason or another.

There seems to be an idea that some people are allowed to get away with more than others. This is incorrect. Both sides get away with the same amount, and get called out for the same amount. The rules are the rules. If you break em, posts get edited or deleted, you get warned through pm or/and in the thread.

How 'bout we just catch them and hang them from the nearest highway overpass? It's not like they're human or anything. Besides, who hard can it be to find them? They look different and they have that accent. I don't think they're even Christian. Aren't they all pretty much ISIS types, looking for ways to enter our country and rape, pillage and burn? Just hang out near a Taco Bell and you'll catch thousands.

Oh, and something over 3 Million of them voted illegally for Hillary.

    Would this make you happy?

I love you, too, but let's not be public about it. People might get the right idea, so shhhhh. By the way, the last bunch of flowers you brought me are fading and I could do with some new ones to cheer me up.

Unless your screen name is dviss1, and you're personally insulting people by calling them a racist.

Over and over, in multiple threads, for months on end, despite being asked repeatedly to stop, despite multiple requests for mods to provide equal application of the rules to all posters.

Never has a liberal/Dem poster been banned from this board, although several break the rules all the time.
