I think a big part of why this isn't fun anymore is the people who are smugative. Smug and negative. I'm going to be honest, it's not Maris, Marazul, El Presidente, etc, who make this place unbearable at times. They actually make it entertaining at times to be honest. It's the people who come here and only show up when the team is losing and pull the "See? I'm right about everything and the team is horrible and you're a loser for continuing to be a fan of this go no where team! Spoiler yes Im talking about gronk . This place used to be kind of a cool place to hang out and talk about the team. Now we have far too many people who take themselves waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. They either can't let anything go, have to be right all the time and never admit they're wrong about anything and make it really difficult to engage in an adult conversation about the team. Why do you think the game threads are not as popular as they once were? Hint, it's not HCP...

I agree to a point. I wouldnt even say it's the super negative folk. We have had the MM's, mixums, nikolokulus's for YEARS. They all looked at things half empty. And I generally have too. It's the smug, I know more than you so stfu type people. Some people want to argue about EVERYTHING and to be quite frank, don't know how to argue in a friendly manner. They do so in an arrogant dick like manner.
yep, the smugness is whats the worst thing about them. No one here is a better fan than anyone else, but the whole smugness of certain posters basically deserves a glorified "fuck the fuck off" every time they post. They must lead miserable lives.
You don't, at least from my recollection, show up only when the team has played bad, and proclaim your view point as correct and that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow a moron for believing differently than you. Or if you do, you do a good job of masking it.

I don't know who told you it was you but I've let you think that long enough. It was two things. The insane Trump sucks because the bodies didn't have dogtags thread (where I knew beyond doubt that most of you are insane) you were PART of that AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL.... My wife was getting tired of me playing on my phone all night. I've learned a bit of self control and don't stay up past 9:30 so I've posted a bit more. I'm at the gym right now so I'm playing on my phone while I bike.
