Oswego Grill is just so so. They're salmon was typical overcooked. I hate dry salmon. Babic Hen is way overrated. My wife and I had breakfast there and were sorely disappointed.
I went there and was treated very nicely for being in that particular region of the city. I did not have the salmon.
Edit: Try The Ringside on West Burnside for the greatest steak. Order it charred medium rare with a baked potato. We've been to El Gaucho twice and were disappointed by our steaks twice. Too much gristle. For breakfast, there's no place that can hold a candle to the Original Pancake House for service, coffee and food. Here's a tip, shop for a nice bottle of red to go with your steak, our favorite is cabernet sauvignon from Columbia's Red Willow Valley or a Mondavi Napa valley and take it with you to the restaurant. They'll uncork it and serve it to you for a corkage fee of around $30. The Columbia Red Willow valley is a very good wine at a competitive price especially if you get it at Costco.
