I just watched a live stream of a dude who drove straight into down power lines and storm surge.. had to try to climb into a stilt house right before his car got swept away. Left the live stream going in the car while waves overtopped it and it got swept away. Don't know if the dude made it in the house...
lol...hey thats what happens when your 70 years old, with one eye, and trying to type on a IPhone 6plus on the sand at Lincoln City. Swallow rooted trees. Plus Im a moderate, Im sure there is something else wrong with me.
This is one nasty storm. Too bad it didn't hit on the other side and wipeout Mar Lago, but then again, Trump would probably run a scam against the insurance company and try and collect more money than what was damaged.
Thank goodness it didn't. My grandpa lives in Jacksonville, FL and he has taken precautions as he does with every hurricane season.
I visited a friend's aunt in Jacksonville over the summer and she was telling us about how she rode one of the big ones out in the past (mind you, she lives in the hood). She was telling us about just being posted up in her easy chair with her power out and her .45 at her side. What a badass. I'd be getting the hell out of town.
Hey, it's like I have a twin. I'm over 70 and have one good eye. Well, it's not really good but it's almost adequate. I make Millions, no I really mean Millions, of typos, but thank God for spell check and an education that stressed proof reading.
I've lived through a hurricane and I'll never go through another, God willing and the creek don't rise.
Well, my sister and her family are safe. Their neighborhood took some serious damage. Her house only lost a couple of shingles and got no tree damage either. These are just some shots she took of her neighborhood.
Add me to the one "good" eye as a few years back I had to have surgery for a detached retina and then surgery for the cataract that came along with the process.
