Can someone explain Kanye's problem with the 13th Amendment? Is it about prison labor? He would get more mileage if he just railed against prison labor as opposed to saying abolish the 13th amendment. Otherwise people think he is pro-slavery (because that's how it sounds)
I agree the cnn clip is racist, Trump is an idiot, West is either crazy or an incredible business man, or both. The rant was bordering on nonsensical however it’s not wrong for trump to meet with a supporter as long as that supporter isn’t espousing violent, racist, homophobic or misogynistic BS, and I don’t think West was doing any of that. That doesn’t mean it was smart politically for Trump to meet with West, but it might have been. My guess is it neither helped or hurt the President or the Republicans, yet it stroked Trumps ego.
and that's all that matters to trump. He would gladly drop approval ratings to have his ego stroked even if it is from an idiot. He is such a simple man to control as all it takes is an ego massaging.

No one would laugh at someone they knew or even thought might be mentally ill on TV where your job was on that same TV. That would be insane.
He may have laughed but I doubt he laughed at someone he knew was mentally ill. If I'd been around when that happened to my brother, and it did happen to him from time to time, I'd have socked the idiot (presuming he too was not mentally ill).
