Here’s the problem. His base won’t abandon him. He could literally do or say anything. And actually, the more he says or does what rational people view as unacceptable, his followers get happier and more fired up. So these things that were once viewed as bad (calling people names, making fun of people, being racist, assaulting women) are not bad things to his voters. They like it. He will get a 2nd term.
There are two types of people in the country /world. Those who are embarrassed by his lunacy and those who think this is tremendous and great for the country. Neither side can fathom the other. Nothing matters anymore. Feel bad for my kids. Hopefully 8 years of Trump won’t do permanent damage
About half of Trump voters voted for him because they liked the shit he's slopping around, the other half of his voters voted for him because they didn't like Hillary. About half of those voters are sorry they voted for Trump. So if the dems can ever get their shit together about 25% of Trump's voters are up for grabs.
