People see 20 shots and just automatically assume it's ISO Ball, because they can't pay enough attention. At least 80% of his shots came within the flow of the offense. A few came on fastbreaks. He barely isolated but people can't see the difference between going 7/20 in the flow of the offense and going 7/20 on isolations.

Hopefully, the Blazers fare better in Indiana. It is not going to be any easier.

Going into tonight, we were second in the NBA in total rebounds.

He wasn't that ISO tonight but he still CONSTANTLY misses open teammates when he has the ball and draws multiple defenders to him.

Blazers had only 14 assists... thats what happens when CJ plays ISO ball

He had two assists. Again. For a guy that has the ball in his hands as much as he does, and the way he was shooting, that’s ridiculous.

He missed passes, yes. But he took pretty good shots and its the people that can't pay enough attention to a game that think he played ISO ball.

C.J. didn't play any ISO ball this game dude. Pay attention. Blazers having 14 wasn't because C.J. was isolating, because he wasnt. The hole team missed shots except Dame, who had to create pretty much everything on his own.

Dame is absolutely on fire recently just by the way. He’s gotta be close to leading the league in ppg. Unfortunately we wasted that this game

He played a big role in choking this game away though.

His stats are fine sure, but he’s getting benched a lot for a reason. Tonight he had more turn overs than made fg’s. He has way too much of a tendency to put up weak shots. On defense he’s not mobile enough to do anything when he gets switched, he just sags back and watches guys hit 3’s.

Your problem Bones is that you take one or two positives with CJ, stick to them, and ignore the 8 or 9 other issues that people counter you with about him.

He’s been better at it finishing strong, yes but he’s still got a tendency to throw up weak looking shots. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying Nurkic’s career is done, or that he sucks. Im hust saying its concerning to me that especially on defense he has been really dissapointing. Offensively at times too, but yes he’s been better at finishing.

I was a nurk fan. But I honestly think his numbers look better than his actual play. I'm not saying he's bad, but he scores a lot of garage points, and fumbles the ball a lot. And misses a lot inside.

OK, so he missed shots and open team-mates despite staying within the flow of the offense. I'm not sure that is grounds for optimism going forward.

CJ is quietly shooting great from 3 point range this year and no one seems to notice.
