You know, I'm finding it hard to get into spirit of Halloween with the bombing, the massacre, the voter suppression. At Planned Parenthood where I volunteer 2 days a week we are all dressing as zoo animals, I'm a bat. But just not feeling like partying right now. Really down.
@Elpre You started the "suspicious package" thread with the direct intent to call it a false flag before any information was available.
The information available is that it happened right before the midterm elections and would garner sympathy for those on the left. Am I wrong?
Harmed? No. Imagine you see your neighbor boldly taking your lawn mower out of your garage and taking it to his house. You rush over and accuse him of stealing it 'cause you don't really get along with him anyhow. Then your wife says he asked to borrow it and she said go ahead , it's in the garage. Should you apologize even though you weren't hurt? I hope all of us would apologize for that totally incorrect assumption.
shtick /SHtik/ noun INFORMAL a gimmick, comic routine, style of performance, etc., associated with a particular person.
Doesn't matter if you were right or wrong based on some perception at the time. Your intent was to get in on the conspiracy theory before anyone else had an opportunity to learn more or talk about it. That was your intent. Clearly. And you were wrong. Maybe learn from it.
Learn from what? It was an open discussion. I don't have anyone on ignore, I welcome all points of views to talk about.
That was why I also said "insulted". In the example you provided, immediately accusing the neighbor of theft without asking for info first is clearly insulting to him as it assumes the worst about him. For that example to be applicable to this situation, El Pres would have to have been accusing you of being involved in the false flag operation, in which case you would obviously be owed an apology. Since he didn't, I still don't see how any apology is warranted.
he's the same one who always blamed the school shootings on "aspies being aspies". thats when I learned not to take anything he says (politically speaking) seriously.
I'm not talking about the President. What I said was "Do you recall all the people who said the MAGA bomber was a False Flag Democrat trying to blame the Republicans for the bombing?" I was talking about all the people who said it was a false flag. The people accused the Lefties, that's what false flag means in this instance, of trying to blame the Righties hence the apology is owed to the Lefties in general. I think my example was spot on.
I'm puzzled why you are of the opinion that someone/something has disproven the false flag likelyhood?
"El pres" = @EL PRESIDENTE, not Trump Nobody accused lefties in general of perpetrating a false flag. I'd gladly change my stance if you can show me otherwise.
I'm curious how you will spin that the Synagogue shooter said he did it because of Trumps tweets about the caravan in Central America and that Trump blamed the jews for financing it. But good ole Donnie "don't blame me" Trump takes no responsibility for his actions.
The Washington Post wrote about it. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...-false-flaggers-didnt/?utm_term=.dea310de13ef
