Tough loss for Indiana, but it will feel better if they put some Biofreeze on it

From this day forward, you are re-named a Zach Collins.

I think Collins is a better player flat out. Even smaller teams can frustrate Nurk by ganging up on him. Collins plays tough and gets more focused the more he's hacked. That's rare.

Congrats to Zach on another solid game, and to Swanigan for the game of his life. Kudos to the whole bench for coming through. OTOH, Nurk is becoming annoying. He's better then that and the team needs him to show it.

How old is Zach Collins again? That footwork is awesome down low.

Meyers has already lost his meager role in the rotation.

:dunno: I got torched before the season for saying Nurk was over-rated by some fans. As long as Collins is outplaying him, I plan to cling to that sweaty jockstrap and howl with glee! :devilwink:

We had 7 players in double figures and 4 of them came from the bench. 2 players had double double in Aminu and Swanigan. Bench 54 points plus play very good defense.

    Disagree.
Against big rim protectors like Whiteside, Nards has a spot on the court.
However against bigs like Turner & Young, Nards does not.

I don't think it's a hot take, i think it's reality. Nurkic's biggest strenght was his Defense, i don't know what happened, But he isn't playing defense anymore, he get's schooled almost each game by the Opponent Center and sits the whole 4th quarter on the bench while Zach is playing, but credit where credit is due, he improved his Shooting and efficiency a little bit, but at this point it's clear for me: Zach is the Future Center of this Franchise.

Zach right now playing with a lot of confidence and doing everything very good. But when he get stronger the rebounding should go up and I know he going continue to get better on that aspect of his game.

It's kind of fun watching a young player blossom. Sure, it's just 5 games (he did have one egg so far), but he is poised and fundamentally sound. His post moves are quite impressive too. Not just finesse like Nurk (who will over-rely on it). Dare I say he's like a white, slower, skinnier Hakeem. :P
