I don't get what the big deal is with this. I wouldn't have thought anything of it no matter who said it. Well, maybe if a KKK type or other White Supremacist had said it, I would take offense. I grew up in North Portland man, and some of the most racist people I knew were staunch democrats! they were some of my relatives I'm disappointed & ashamed to say! Theu could have been some of your relatives and friends too. There is enough racism from both sides so don't make it political. Thats part of the problem! I have friends and family that are republicans too & Lanny, and they are not racist, some of the nicest, humble and giving people I know. Geez louise.
I was talking politicians, not civilians. Among civilians, there are of course racists on both sides (and you have very fine people, on both sides), but a list of most-racist politicians will have a lot of R's towards the top. barfo
