    We need someone to mediate and conciliate as Brown doesnt know how.
    My wife is a tier1 teacher retiree and believes the that PERS is a run way train that needs fixed and Brown the last one that will try.
    Me, I love Pers check each month but think Mike Belotties is a little high. Knute will change that.

    There is nothing that can be done with the current high PERS payouts. And the amount future high earners will collect has already been capped out and fixed.

    Part of the attraction of getting qualified people to apply for low paying government jobs is the PERS along with increased job security. The total cost is still less than hiring people at a pay rate competitive with private sector equivalent jobs.
