https://www.yahoo.com/news/cnn-sues...entials-correspondent-143454070--finance.html CNN has filed a lawsuit against the whitehouse over the revoking of reporter Jim Acosta's press credentials. This comes after Acosta turned away from an intern who tried to take the microphone after Trump couldn't take the heat from questions about the caravan moving North towards the border in Mexico. CNN said they filed the lawsuit because "If left unchallenged, the actions of the White House would create a dangerous chilling effect for any journalist who covers our elected officials."
"turned away from..." an intern? Hmm...seems like that description leaves out a significant element of that interaction.
Are you saying he assaulted her? Maybe you saw Huckabee Sanders version of the video. Excuse me, he put his arm out to block the intern from taking the microphone and turned away from her.
No--what I'm saying is that however one might describe the physical contact, to write about the incident as though it didn't occur is intentional omission of a significant factor. I'm not opining on the validity of the White House's interpretation or response; simply saying that it's obvious that their response was based on the physical contact, not the simple fact of him "turning away", and that it's disingenuous to portray it as such.
So what other physical contact has occurred? Trump said he is considering revoking other press credentials and mentioned April Ryan. This appears to be all pretext to me. Good for CNN. Whether there is basis for removing it or or not will be sorted out by the courts.
CNN’s rabid dog has been quarantined for the safety of all honest journalists, but they refuse to do the right thing and put him down.
Instead, it appears from the headline that they are suing deceased singer Amy Whitehouse to distract from their continued fake news campaign.
He put his arm out to block hurt her. He did not hit or grab her. He was not violent. If he had actually hit her or grabbed her, etc I would be on whitehouses side, but he did no such thing. Some conversatives tried to pass an edited video. Its all B.S. Acosta will get his credntials back.
The only rabid dog I saw in those videos was the one barking from behind his bully pulpit to try to silence the reporter who was just trying to do his job as guaranteed by the First Amendment. And that's what this really comes down to, a First Amendment issue. The president is trying to silence his critics in the media, which is EXACTLY why freedom of the press is guaranteed by the first amendment. BNM
I believe you mean Amy Winehouse. When referring to the place where the current president lives, the correct spelling would be Whine House. BNM
I guess a judge will decide whether he's 'rabid' or not. He appears to have the backing of his peers. Of course, they're all part of the dreaded deep state.
Uhhhhhhhhh. How many questions and how much time does the first amendment guarantee to Acosta exactly?
Uhm, Sean Spicer isn't the press secretary any longer. Seems like your article is a wee bit out of date. barfo
It's not about refusing to answer his questions and cutting him off, it's about revoking his press credentials. That's where it becomes a First Amendment issue. BNM
