Yeah, that why I was confirming. I thought @BonesJones explained it ended last Friday and the ESPN notification doesn't apply to us.

Looks like Bones is wrong. You can still make trade proposals.
Click on the "settings" link right below "My Team" on the league home page. You can see the trade deadline info there.

Their keepers are most likely not going to be as good as the top teams, which is why they finished last. Also, keepers based off picks would be unbalanced. Imagine if someone had Kamara and Hunt last year. Kamara from the waiver wire and Hunt as a 12th round pick. Theyd be stacked.

I don't want to do keepers because I literally didn't have a single player all year who I wanted to keep. Maybe Brees(?) lol.
HJ is right I traded most of my "good" players, but I never really had a guy who was producing even close to "top tier". Really James White and Cooper Kupp were probably my closest. No one would be keeping those guys for next year...
Anyways enough of my complaining, I'll go along with whatever you guys want to do.

I don't think either of those guys would have been drafted that low or undrafted in a keeper league where during the draft you have to consider future years as well. Even if they did, it rewards the person who took them.

Most teams have 2 or 3 good players to keep for next year, except when Tortured trades all his good players. He still has Rodgers though. Anyway, I'm not saying it's perfect I just don't like rewarding teams that heavily because they sucked or weren't trying as hard as other teams.

Just make it easy and use ESPN's trade rules. No reason to complicate it, keep it standard.

I know the "average" thing in the app says that a few of the guys I have are pretty bad, but it's because they count all the games, even when they didn't play. Ingram, and Josh Gordon have actually been really good since I picked them up. If this was a keeper league and I had to choose two those might be the guys I went with.

DUDE! At various times this season you had Beckham, Adams, Brees, Rodgers, Evans, Elliot, Cooks, and that's just off the top of my head. You could've had an absolutely stacked keeper team. The keeper rule wouldn't take place until next year anyway.

Besides your missing the complete point of keepers being based off of draft round. You got White off of waivers right? That means he'd count as your last round pick in my suggestion and Kupp would count as your 8th round (or whatever round you took him in, I don't want to look it up. Meanwhile I wouldn't have a 1st or 2nd round pick if I kept Kamara and McCaffrey so you would get really good players at the top of the draft. All the rookies are in the draft too so this year you could've likely had Saquan Barkley to add to Kupp and White or whatever. Then you would have another pick or two before I even got to take someone.

I'm pretty sure I drafted white. Every week I had Beckham he was complete garbage, wish I could've had that pick back. Adams and Cooks were good for me, but Evans the weeks I had him couldn't catch a freaking football to save his life lol. I get what you're saying. I admitted to lacking patience with some guys that I should have stuck with. I still have Rodgers and only have him because I had brees and I'm not sure I would keep brees, he's like what 40(?) he's going to slow down eventually.
I didn't draft well from the get go to be honest, no one's fault but my own. My top picks were Beckham who I kept for a while and he had like one td through the 1st 6 weeks, and Fournette who spent most of the season playing madden, and then I got the rams defense lol.

As this season has gone on, I'm questioning if that Rams D pick was really an accident or very careful planning :) You have had some talent on your team this season. Patience is a virtue, but that itch to trade can be overwhelming.

If it was careful planning, someone else was doing the planning. Cause even during the draft and the days after I was pretty annoyed with myself heh.
