You say some weird things, but that takes the cake. Sibling athleticism is about as safe a bet as there is in the sporting world. Intellectual stuff and career choices are all over the map.

He's actually having a very solid season. Oddly enough, not on the strength of his 3-point shooting. He's doing it with defense, rebounding and two point shooting.

Different players, different positions, different roles, but an interesting statistical comparison:

It's funny: we were lukewarm about most of the players Olshey acquired, bitched about them while they were here, and now are bitching about how well they're doing on other teams.

    Well, except for Crabbe.

Bucks lost to the Hornets tonight, and the Warriors are losing to the Magic.

Those 2 blow-outs are looking worse and worse.

They only seem weird to you because you're not used to hearing sense.

    Mmmmmmm. Cake.

I'm pretty sure actual research would undermine your confidence. You think the only NBA players with brothers are the NBA players who have brothers in the NBA? Jerryd Bayless has a brother who works on Wall Street.

Do you get the idea that identifying and developing talent may not be a strong point for the current Blazer brain-trust?

Cheer up - we could be the Rockets. Or the Pelicans. Or the Jazz. Or the Wizards.

I'm not a fan of Olshey but I have to admit - he got us RoLo, who overperformed enough to price himself out of our range. Then he got us Mason Plumlee, who also turned his career around as a Blazer, and helped us get Nurk, who is great. I bet there are plenty of other teams' fans who envy that.

Feels like a lot of teams are winning/losing in unexpected ways that there seems to be more parity league wide. That’s one reason why our recent losses don’t seem as bad to me yet.

See what happens when you remove Steph Curry?

Jazz are by far the most unpredictable team in the league. They go from totally unexpected defeats to shock wins on a nightly basis.

You had to go back several years. Most GMs change a starter or two every year.

Plumlee turned around his long, long 2-year career? They overpaid Lopez? You're stretching.
