In Russell Wilson's twitter feeds some people are bugging him about helping Portland get baseball instead of Seattle getting their NBA team back.

Someone said "Awesome. Now where's our NBA team??"

    Someone else responded "In Oklahoma"

    That is some funny shit.

I saw Wilson talking about this. Didn't know he's involved.

What I love about Russell Wilson investing in baseball in Portland is that he has more confidence in the sport's viability here than almost every Oregonian has ever shown.

Yup he wasn’t. But when he found out this is strictly privately funded he got extremely wide eyed. It’s rare for something like this to be privately funded. When mayors hear that they do everything they can to help. Plus imagine the property tax revenue that stadium will generate for the city.

I hope this isn't a scam so they can turn around and develop that property.

Get it rezoned, have things fall through and then build apartment buildings.

Eventually the housing market is going to level off and people will stop paying those ridiculous prices for high rise apartments. I'd hate to get stuck that much property when the boom goes bust.

Alright, so who will be calling the games for us?
Who is our starting pitcher on Opening Day and lastly,
who comes off the bench and do we play a zone?

What's even funnier is Russ is already involved in a group that is trying to get the Sonics back. Dumb ass fan.

It'll be hilarious watching people on this board try to learn the intricacies of baseball in a couple of months. But then it takes a couple of months to finish a game, right. So ya'll will have plenty of time.

I mean..... I imagine most of the people have watched baseball. I used to watch a lot in the 90s. I just got bored with it.

We'll need someone a bit more lively than the actual game so...
