Nobody's due for a win. You have to EARN IT.

The way Benedict Aldridge dissed the Blazers, he should never win a game against them again.

Why? As long as the team has no owner, Neil has 100% job security. Once a new owner is found, he is 99.9% likely to be fired. Nothing he does matters and he has no incentive to do anything.

If this were the NFL, Moe would have been cut, or put on IR.

I miss 5-6 guys scoring in double digits every night like the first 10 games...2 or 3 guys doing it aren't going to get you far in the west...get back to playing smart ball again and beat the Spurs!

I feel bad for Jake. Dude was coming along. His explosive athletic ability, and his beautiful form on his shot were starting to finally payoff. He always gave it his all. Heartless Harkless is a plodder and a pouter. I'd cut his butt ASAP!

And then we have Turner. He not only fell off the back of a turnip truck, on the way down he hit his head on the trailor hitch!

That would be a thing to behold, but guys got to hit shots off the bench. The flow of the bench has been a disaster of late. And their shooting has been less than stellar outside of Meyers, and sometimes Sauce.

I don't get ET. He started the season looking good. Directing the second team offense with vigor. Now he looks slow, makes poor reads, and his offense has been MIA. But at least he has a motor. Heartless doesn't know what the heck that is. He must have incriminating pictures of Stotts to be getting any minutes at all.

Dame, CJ, Nurk, Chief, and Layman. 2nd team: Collins, ET, Sauce, Curry, and Leonard. Blowouts: Trent Jr., Simons, & Swanny. Greydog out of town, Harkless.

Hey on a brighter note, I kinda liked what I saw of Nurk and Meyers playing together. Twin Towers sort of thing. Was working. I've been on Meyers case for years, but he finally is putting some quality minutes together on both sides of the court. I don't care for all the goofy faces and flexes, but if that gets him going, let'er rip.

I thought Meyers' defense last night was consistently better than Nurk's. Maybe I was missing something.

Olshey's showcasing of Evan Turnover is backfiring. Badly.

Jake was doing about all you could has with the opportunities given until Harkless was about to return. The Blazers seemed to play much better and get off to better starts for the most part with Jake in the lineup. What I don't get is when Layman was hitting shots early in the game, Stotts would never run anything for him to feed the rhythm and certainly wouldn't go back to him later.

Layman was up to 70% eFG at one point and now can't even get in a game. When the Blazers are so desperate for a wing to hit shots, there is a guy sitting on the bench who was doing just that.

Crazy right. Then Stotts rewards him with DNPs, yet guys like Turner and Harkless constantly fuck up then get rewarded with starting positions and no minute reductions

That’s why I’m really thinking it’s a salary thing. I think there’s no way they can justify to have Turner a 18M a year guy sit no matter how bad he is.
