Well the republicans and democrats don’t care about you and politicians are bought and paid for to push agendas constantly. It’s easy to say great things off a prewritten speech but they have you where they want you. They want to make you believe you have some form of control but yo don’t and nobody does. It’s one big show meant for true division among the people of this country
Choosing the lesser of two evils still means less evil. If you just want to give up then that's you right as an American, don't expect the rest of us to do the same though.
My life is fine. I'm not the one spending time in a forum that involves politics and complaining about i t being about politics. I find it rather hilarious.
So you would have no problem if an outgoing democratic governor tried changing laws to lessen the power of the incoming republican governor? It all makes sense now why you adore Heil Trump.
Whether they give a shit about you is completely irrelevant. Standing on the beach during a tsunami and saying "well, hurricanes are bad too" is not an appropriate response. barfo
Hmm. The phrase, “Elections have consequences” keeps echoing in my head. Not to say I support what Walker’s doing, but to pretend that one party is less nasty and self-interested than the other is nonsense. That’s why I am registered independent. I want nothing to do with elephants or donkeys.
Weird, it’s like no matter how much I post on how I don’t give a shit about trump, the super leftists in here will still make me out to be a trump supporter. Hmmm oh I know. It’s because I also don’t believe in the far leftist ideology and because I don’t believe it, I must be a trump supporter. Great logic
Sorry, but one party is less nasty and self-interested than the other. "Both sides do it" doesn't cut it.
Its completely relevant. You put your time in talking about them, voting for them whether it be left or right and it simply does not matter. The billionaire corporate monsters pull the strings. Imagine being able to give to a politician to push your agenda. That’s essentially how all politicians have worked for years and years. All while giving the American people the illusion of some sort of control or vote. Did you have a choice when bush sent us into the Iraq war? Did you have a choice when the dnc fucked over Bernie Sanders? Bottom line is the powers that be will always have the last word and the power to do whatever they want
So I guess the solution is that we should all become apathetic like you? If nobody cares about anything, we won't be divided! But do you think that really solves the problem? If there is no pushback at all, why wouldn't the government become much more corrupt? Would one party be better than two parties? You wouldn't have to bother to not vote anymore, the elections would all be canceled. barfo
Well I don’t believe in far leftist or right ideology but apparently none of you can understand we live in Oregon, a super leftist state so yeah, I’m gonna say a far left ideology because that’s what it is. At least in portland and the other bigger places. I don’t believe in a far right ideology either. Once again, I don’t know if you have noticed, the far left ideology is currently poisoning education and big tech corporations as well as media. But sure let’s turn a blind eye to that as well. If I saw a far right ideology constantly being pushed, I would also have an issue. That’s not the case though
You are confused. There are differences between politicians, just like there are differences between any set of humans. Even if we accept your theory that they are all exactly equally corrupt, which isn't correct, they are corrupt in different ways. I did have a choice. I voted for Al Gore. He might have done some terrible things had he become president, but I doubt that war in Iraq would have been one of them. Different people make different choices. The DNC is not government. So logically, we'd want to choose the powers that be very very carefully. barfo
Yeah you know me, I’m trying to control people obviously. Hey I’m just saying my opinion like you. My opinion is politics are a waste of time and the people in it don’t give one shit about you so it’s kind of a shame you are so invested in it because there would be much less hate and divisiveness if this shit two party system never existed. The governments been corrupt. For as long as it has existed.
No shit there are differences. The dnc is obviously not government but it’s one side of a party. The corruption goes together. I don’t think they are equally corrupt but yes corrupt in different ways. Some things though don’t change within both parties. Who knows if al gore was in, it would of been different. Seems to me like most of our presidents love getting into war and issues that aren’t ours. That’s odd. They love signing off on drone strikes that kill innocent civilians. They love doing business with the Saudi Arabians and funding both sides. Trump is doing it. Obama did it. Sure seems the same to me. Business as usual as long as you’re sitting in that seat doesn’t matter if you’re a republican or Democrat
Not really into shades of grey, are you? Are all governments around the world equally corrupt? Has our government been exactly the same amount of corrupt the entire 240 year history? Or were there maybe periods when it was a little less corrupt or a little more corrupt? Isn't a little less corrupt a good thing? Shouldn't we try to make government a little less corrupt? barfo
You also apparently don't have a clue what I was talking about. First, the post of mine you responded to wasn't even posted to you and second, I never mentioned anything about trump, you did. I would like to say great logic in response but it appears your post lacks any logic.
