You say that as if that deal would be taken by them... why the hell would the Suns want that? That's just as bad as MarShon and Selden.

Good ol' inefficient Oubre with bad defense this season and nothing else to offer... has potential but we'd be fine missing out on him...

We don't have a roster spot though and it would be foolish to use an exception and not shed salary as we are already over the luxury tax. Oubre is also out of contract next season.

I don’t think we need to remember that. They are literally all more active than Portland.

Well you got to accomplish what you wanted anyway, another chance to bash Olshey. It's not like you have ever needed a reason though. :devilwink:

Can you list off all the deals that all the other teams are involved in right now?

No but I can list all the trades everyone but Portland made to upgrade/switch up their rotation in the last year if you want.

I always enjoy watching my team. Maybe you should look for a team you can root for rather than want the GM fired, the coach fired and all players not named Lillard traded.

    1. I enjoy rooting for the blazers. Doesn’t mean I hold their hand and agree with everything they do. Mediocrity shouldn’t be accepted. Not by fans, and certainly not by the people running the team.

    2. I want the GM and coach fired because I don’t think they’re doing enough.

    3. The only player I’ve actively talked about moving is CJ.

And the funny thing is, if you go back into my post history, I wasn’t always anti Olshey, and I still give him credit when it’s due. But everything has a limit.

Anyways back on topic, Phoenix now has a logjam on the wing with the addition of Oubre. Get TJ Warren to Portland.

Blazers should look to make a trade to get Avery Bradley and Montrezl Harrell to Portland

What a weird trade. The Wizards don't shed any salary and basically lose Oubre for nothing after this year. At least when we didn't want to pay Plumlee we got Nurk and a 1st out of it. The Suns use a decent trade asset to get a crappy PG that will just take time away from Melton and Okobo. Getting Oubre is okay but the minutes aren't really there for him and if they let both Rivers and Oubre walk at the end of the year they got nothing for trading Ariza either.

What the heck are both of these teams trying to accomplish? Why did the Suns sign Ariza and Jamal Crawford in the first place? Why are the Wizards preparing for a playoff run with a team that hates each other and that they should blow up? I really don't understand. Maybe there will be more moves to make these ones more logical but as of right now both teams are looking stupid. At least with some of the crappy Blazer trades like Vonleh there was a financial reason for doing so. I don't see any help financially to this either.

Can not explain the Sun's reason. But the Wizzards won this trade.

The Wizzards could not afford to re-sign Oubre next off season. They wanted to get something for him rather than lose him for nothing. The dysfunctional talented Wizzards got what they need the most.

A grownup in the locker room.

Yes, but at least in the 3 team trade the Wizards were getting a future 2nd rounder. Instead of trying to cure the dysfunctional locker room why not trade the problems? That team isn't going anywhere anyway.

With Howard out they really need help at Center too.

Why would the Clippers trade Harrell, and why would the Blazers want Bradley? Bradley's plummet from usefulness after leaving the Celtics has been even more extreme than Evan Turner's.

He cant space - A career 32% 3pt shooter who's likely having a fluke shooting year based off small sample size.

    He's a ball stopper - 1.4 assists PER 36 for his career.

    He's a bad defender
    - Too slow to guard SFs, too small to guard PFs. Has a career -1.2 DBPM (-1.7 & -1.9 the last 2 years).

So basically, he's a terrible fit here, and a very overrated player.

How about Turner and Swanigan for Parker from Chicago.
