So fans are so stupid that they support a team without much talent but would stop supporting it if they tried something different with that lousy talent?

Of course you will ignore it. It puts you on blast so you don't want to read it.

I just don't like the idea of guards who can't shoot. If they are an elite playmaker or defender then mayyyyybe but Turner is neither of those.

Oh I read it, it's just utter and complete bullshit and I was trying to be nice and keep the conversation about basketball instead of whatever the fuck you're trying to turn it into.

You literally fucking said that the team needs Dame, CJ, and Nurk to play. Not once did I ever fucking say anything about not playing them. SO how the fuck did I change what I said? I've had the same fucking stance since the beginning.

You are the one all over the fucking map. Fuck off.

Okay, I get it now. You think I actually give a fuck about changing your opinion? You can think however the fuck you want. There is no fucking bullying going on. You are completely out of line and I seriously have no fucking clue why you can't just talk about basketball instead of turning this into something it isn't.

So seems like the Jist of this is:
KJ’s point I believe is that.
    • The talent isnt good outside if mostly Dame.
    • Benching guys like ML, ET, Nik, and Seth would be seen as tanking. Their replacements would be worse.
Hoops is basically saying. The current Bench guys have been pretty bad lets see what the young guys have.
    • He believes they couldnt be worse and would possibly be better and if nothing else then they could jump start developing guys like Simons.

Also sorry if Im putting words into your mouths. Im just trying to cut through the fat so to speak.

That's pretty much it from my side. I'm not sure where the "bullying" comes in.

This is his thing sometimes. He'll be fine 9 conversations out of 10, and then the 10th is like this. I dont get it either.

But me and you are really something!

I gotta respond to this over like 4 separate posts.

But you insinuated it, or you are unaware as to how unclear you can be. You said "Can you imagine the outcry if Portland showed up at games and sat their best players? Seriously. It's not just Stotts. The NBA markets teams and Lillard/CJ/Nurk are part of the marketing plan." Nobody was talking about sitting their best players, so where did that even come from? This response makes it seem like you think he was. Hoops was talking about replacing bench players the whole time. He responded to that, and then you accused him of being all over the place and not making sense because of it. Do you follow this? It's as if you make up things in your head, put it inside people's posts, and then respond. Meh, you dont even want to try to understand, youd rather sit back behind this self-righteous persona and take pot shots and attribute fallacies to peoples words.

Quit saying that weak stuff man. Saying that to someone because they disagree with you is silly.

How does that muddy the water? Muddying the water is more your thing, and I explained it earlier if you dont understand (you probably still wont). Reading between the lines, hes saying that Turner isnt more productive than Baldwin would be, in part because Stotts doesnt use ET right/allows him too much freedom, and because ET doesnt fit with Dame. I dont know how that's muddying the water because you dont understand it.

Nobody is trying to beat you down. The annoyance with you DOES NOT come from you having a different point of view. You saying it does though, is what's really annoying. It comes from how unclear your posts can be, and then accusing others of being "all over the map" and "unfollowable" simply because you dont understand them, or have confused them with your lack of clarity. That's where the annoyance lies, in your communication. So dont say BS like "You can't beat people down into thinking your way. That is not the way the forum works." Nobody's trying to do that chief. I couldn't care less about your opinion. It's about the crap you say. Im obviously not the only one who feels this way. Need more examples?

"You guys gang up on people". Since when? This is literally the first argument I've backed HJ in like this. You're just sitting here making crap to falsely make you sound like a victim and make us sound as bad as possible. That's petty and ridiculous. Another example? "I will not be bullied". Bruh, nobody's bullying you! Do you seriously think you're being bullied? That's ridiculous. You're talking more shit about us! So get outta here with that.

You turned this conversation into this. You're so off-base it's not even funny.

This is pretty much what I got. Add:

    KJironman

    • The NBA being an entertainment industry dictates teams playing their best players.
    • Fans wouldn't like watching the younger players take the pkace of our brnch players because the Blazers bench would be worse then it already is and they would lose even more.
    • Fans don't like watching teams tank
    • Tanking doesn't benefit the front office who loses money if the team doesn't win

    Hoopsjock

    • Part of a sucessful team is developing young players. Not developing young players by not playing them leads to high turnover of players and limited success in rebuilding teams. Not playing Baldwin/Layman/Simons means these players won't develop, will eventually leave, and the Blazers will continue to run in place going nowhere fast.

Look, you guys have differing opinions and are offering different ideas. That is the point of a forum. If you can't agree, agree to disagree. No need for hostility on either side. I think you both have valid points.

That's not really what HoopsJock is saying, but all this isn't about the disagreement itself, it's about the communication.

Yeah, communication is good. They both offered two different ideas. Neither KJ or Hoops really validated the other. They both kept saying, this is what I am saying and you are not getting it. Better communication would probably have saved two - three pages in this thread and some irritability.

I thought we were discussing it fine and all of a sudden KJ accused myself and Bones of bullying him like we have some agenda. I even tried to respond to JUST the basketball portion of one of his ridiculous posts to get it back on track and his response was this:

I'm really having a tough team figuring out where he is coming from.
