    If I would be drilling them about there effort on the boards and the defense end and get back with the ball movement that got them lead in the 1st Qt.

    Not fully. They also had elite 3pt shooters to kick to and isolated an MVP who gets the most BS calls in his favor. That 3-2 lead was mostly due to their defensive switchability too.

    Kicking to shooters is part of an iso. They’d iso’d Paul and Harden and scored or kicked. Yes their D was great but their offense was iso iso iso.

    I know this is unfair to some extent but I dont think Stotts is that kind of coach. I think he’s the positive reinforcement all the time type of guy.

    Point is iso iso iso isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you have the players who can do it. Our offense with Roy was iso iso iso.

    It works in individual games, but in playoffs if you don't have lockdown D and guys who can bail out double teams iso ball does nothing.

    I dont see how the Blazers lose anything by trying out Trent, Simons or even Baldwin at this point. Not that we need to rehash that arguement. Its not like they could really be that much worse though.
