Because it was true. Twice. Losing to the Jazz twice in a week by 20+... there's no other explanation. You can try... but there isn't.

Andrew Wiggins Gets Booed At Home, Criticizes Fans

Andrew Wiggins was booed at home during the Minnesota Timberwolves' 123-120 overtime loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Wiggins missed a potentially game-tying free throw with 4.5 seconds left in overtime, sparking the crowd reaction. Shooting 75% from the free-throw line on the season, he was 5-12 from the charity stripe for the game.

Following the loss, Wiggins addressed the boos by saying "that’s fans for you. We’ve got some s---ty fans and we’ve got some good fans. That’s just how it works.”

If I was a Tpups fan, I'd say "that’s players for you. We’ve got some s---ty players and we’ve got some good players. That’s just how it works.”

Funny thing is him and KAT getting paid lots of money and they’re worse than the Blazers are. Minnesota should never have signed Wiggins for that much money. He’s not worth it.

To make your point even more impactful. The Jazz are a divisional rival and they are pretty damn good. The Blazers should have looked better in those losses no question though.

I got to agree with you there. I can see the Blazers losing a game or even both of them but they lost in very bad form. Total team letdown. Not sure what they were thinking?

I think everyone does that to a point, they care about the things that effect them. It's why you don't have to travel far to find people with completely different values than us. It's because they have different problems. I agree that working on hatred in myself, my neighborhood, my kids, is more important than trying to fix the issues of some culture or person 100's or 1000's of miles away.
Would love to talk to you in person about this type of thing as I'm not sure the internet is a great forum for expressing ourselves clearly.
Anyways I really hope that we can educate our children to love and respect everyone that's part of the HUMAN race. Not just the ones of the same skin colors, or the ones who think are "like us" for whatever reason. I think it really sucks what has happened to blacks and really all minorities in america so like I said I will do my best to listen and try to understand, that doesn't mean I will always agree (just as you wont always agree with me).
I'll just leave this conversation at that. Hope you have a good weekend.

My brother lives in Minnesota; in general the fans there just don't like Wiggins' play.

    Random stats leader board observations:

Lillard, Batum, and Wes are all tied at 0.398 for 3PT%. Imagine if they were still all on the same team, being a coach and trying to decide [statistically] who is the #1 option on late game shots.

Our very own Seth Curry, who many here have said is having an awful season, leads the league at an even 50%.

Westbrook and George are #1-2 in the league in steals. That has to be unusual for teammates. Butler and Covington (traded for each other) are #3-4.

It's getting better but Curry is still only shooting 31.6% on 2 point FGs. He only has 25 assists with 21 turnovers which isn't great for a small guard. These kind of overshadow his 3 point shooting. I think he's still trying to get his feel back for the game after sitting out a year. Obviously it would be great if he shot close to 50% on 3 pointers all year.

The Wiz are currently 6th in the lottery. Their only play here is to tank, right? Anyone else feel differently?

Firesale about to go down in Washington. Why the hell did they trade for Ariza?

    I'd go after Porter.

They might as well trade us Porter for ET and Meyers.

I wonder if they'd do Turner, Harkless, and Leonard for Porter and Mahinmi? I don't really want to take on Mahinmi but doing so might be a way to make the trade work without giving up a pick.

    Or how about this:
    http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yaea65d7

Blazers get Porter, Mahinmi, and Melo

    Rockets get Aminu

Wiz get Turner, Leonard, Chriss, and Carter-Williams

For the Rockets they get a defensive wing that would basically be Mbah A Moute's role from last year. Wiz get a bunch of crap but get completely under the luxury tax this year and improve their tanking status.

    Blazers lineup would be:
Dame, CJ, Harkless, Porter, Nurk (I like that a lot)
Curry, Stauskas, Layman, Melo, Collins (Not bad for the bench)
    Baldwin, Simons, Trent, Mahinmi, Swanigan

If he could get his 2P% back im line with previous years, he'd be insanely efficient and one of the best off-the-bench guards in the league. We need to stagger Dame and C.J. so that Seth can play more.
