I'm kinda convinced theyd go over picks against Evan Turner.

Duh! You gotta force ET off the 3 point line and make him take mid range jumpers, right?

I didn't say anything about whether they should win or lose, I'm specifically talking about our ridiculously predictable pick and roll defense.

Looking over the Thunder roster I really dislike this team, top 3 hate level. Remember when people on this board wanted Noel, glad that didn’t happen.

I'm really excited for tonight. Dame usually runs circles around Westbrook and we swept them last year. It's the late night game, but still on ESPN regardless. A 40 spot with a win would go a long way in getting Dame some votes for all star. Hopefully he has recovered from his cold.

Their defense looks unbelievable this year and they really thrive on forcing turnovers. Given our recent penchant to throw the ball away, this will probably be a key factor. Nurk needs to win his matchup against Adams.

OMG, they've got Felton, I hate Felton so we've just gotta beat the Thunder. We have to beat them.

Also, I can't believe Neil picked Aminu ahead of Gordon Hayward and the hometown guy Paul George while in LA.

    What a blunder.

What is it you dislike about Noel? 5/5 in 14 mpg with 1.5 blocks, 58% FG, and a phenomenal net rating. Sounds like the perfect backup center.

Well if we're playing that game, 6 of the 8 picks before Hayward and George were worse.

    Evan Turner
    Derrick Favors
    Wesley Johnson
    Ekpe Udoh
    Greg Monroe
    Al-Farouq Aminu

ok...this sounds like a good game to play

list all the breakable things within 10 feet of your TV and the forum gets to decide which thing you have to break

    remember...you started it

It loses some of its luster if it's planned and not spontaneous though.

    maybe for you

but this is about us now. Not only that, if the game is going badly we all might want to break something, and it will be much better if it's yours. Do you have a window close to the TV? Are you married and does your wife have something artsy close to the TV?

I'm married and have 3 kids. They all know better than to be around me when I'm watching a game. There is nothing artsy in our house so you can take your pick of what toy you want me to break because that is pretty much all that is ever around.

Feel like the bench could have some success in this game. They primary play PNR with Schroder and Noel and I expect Stotts to continue to let Zach be the center on D. Patterson has been crap and should be an easy cover for Meyers. They also run a lot of snug/logo ball screen action though which will make Zach's positioning very important. Make Schroder a finisher and protect against the lob. Zach's pretty good at this, but Noel's athleticism is pretty overwhelming.

Dame has had some sloppy playmaking stretches lately. Fully expect OKC to shrink the floor and take away Dame's drives and Nurks roll game as much as they can. I'm sure Dame has seen the film and is anticipating this, but the pressure is on his playmaking and shot selection to avoid sparking their offense through easy transition baskets, especially early in the game.

But OKC also does a good job being early in help which puts them in great position to close and contest, so guys will need to be smart and decesive reading closeouts and making the right play off that initial pass And even then, OKC does a great job scrambling and taking away the next pass so it'll be important to keep playing throughout the entire shot clock. They have done a better job of this lately, but that'll need to be there again tonight.

Look for Stotts to run more empty side ball screens than usual to combat OKC's tendency to sell out on the PNR and dribble penetration. It's a go to secondary break action, but I think we'll see it used more in the half court as well.

Lastly, this feels like another game where Moe's play will be a big factor. PG has been unbelievable this year, and if Moe can make it tough on him in the half court and hit some shots on the other end, that could swing the balance of this game.

    Go Blazers.

Yeah, but we throw the ball away unforced against any team, so it shouldn't be any worse than normal--right?
