A month ago I saw that Vonleh was outrebounding Kanter, who is notoriously great at offense, nothing at defense. Aware of stats, Kanter stepped up his rebounding and the rebounding became even, which drove down Vonleh's PER. Lately I read that the Knicks told Kanter that he'll remain a starter. I wondered what that was about. Now on this board, I read the opposite. Call him Vonleh's Victim. Vonleh takes down a giant.

I honestly don't see the correlation with averaging a triple double and wether taking 3s when you're shooting sub 25% on them good or bad. he could be averaging 76 points, 54 assists and 90 rebounds and he would still be a stupid shot to take, especially 5 fucking times a game

These people dont know what it's like to dunk off two, right-left with the right hand. That's unavoidable.

Kanter unlike Vonleh however has to both play and scan the crowd at each game for suspicious looking Turkish hit men while Vonleh just has to get another dry towel

You don't know that. I could dunk at one point, it wasn't all that spectacular but Wiggins isn't the only one to ever do it... I said he didn't do anything intentionally, but when he gathers his elbow is indeed out in front of him, thus leading with his elbow.
http://www.nba.com/article/2019/01/08/nerlens-noel-stretchered-vs-timberwolves 6 seconds in elbows in front of his body.
I don't think he did anything wrong necessarily, but the NBA, in my opinion, has ejected or assessed flagrant ones for much less when it comes to contact to the head. I think you could definitely say that it was a natural basketball play and that he wasn't seeking out the contact and for that, I am ok with not an ejection, I just think some level of consistency would be great. It's almost impossible to judge intent.

I could dunk off right foot only while playing. And then only for about 4 months around my 24th birthday. Then I found Muchas Gracias and became short white Oliver Miller.

I had game. Built like football player, skills for basketball.

My friends I played with called me Sabonis back then.

Realize that is amongst a bunch of slow short white kids.

I was more of a Bruce Bowen or Wes type...had a decent jumper but I loved defense..always was the most fun getting a steal or causing a turnover....I was terrible under the rim in traffic...I'm naturally claustrophobic...I'll guard the perimeter.

I had 3 pt range. Could post up, loved little hook shots and using the glass like Rod Strickland or Zach Randolph.

My middle name was bounce pass in traffic

My best shot was the hook shot 3 ft out...or the Lamarcus elbow 18 ft shot..nobody shot 3s much back in my day...was considered a lazy play to shoot a 3 unless it was a shot clock issue..I never looked to score...I looked for the offensive board

I became a good 3 point shooter because I was by far the shortest of a family of Giants, several cousins in the 6'6 to tallest of 7'1. Then I got stuck at 5'10...

My patented rebound and run out to the left corner three and turn and fadeaway always pissed people off because it almost always hit nothing but net.

That was actually a lot less of a flop than most of his flops. There was actual contact made.

When I play pickup games it usually leads to people being pissed. I always want to guard the other teams best player and I face guard, set hard screens, make crafty passes. My jumper is garbage most the time but I can get hot once in awhile from distance. I like to bull my way into the lane, initiate contact, get someone off balance and score on them. I can hang with a good competition, but I'd hardly say I'm a good player. Just play well within a team concept.
