Of course I would do that, primarily to get out of Sawnigan's guaranteed money next year.

I had something a little bigger in mind though. I HATE helping out Houston but if we could get a pick out of them to send to Atlanta instead of our own would any of the other team's do this?

Atlanta gets Evan Turner, Brandon Knight, Gary Trent Jr, Isaiah Hartenstein, 2019 Rockets 1st, 2021 Rockets 1st

Houston gets Dewayne Dedmon, Al-Farouq Aminu, Justin Anderson, and Caleb Swanigan

Portland gets Taurean Prince, Jeremy Lin, Carmelo Anthony, and Vince Carter

We completely transform our roster with some vets and add our potential SF of the future. Losing Aminu hurts a little but this would sneak us under the tax line this season too. Would we have to throw Atlanta a pick too? Would Houston give up two 1sts since they dump Knight, something they're willing to give up a 1st for, and add Dedmon and Aminu?

It's weird, have any teammates said anything bad about him? Or is it simply that his play on the court where he still plays like he's a star is all that is causing teams to crumble when he is on it. It's probably a longshot but maybe this couple month period has humbled him a bit. I don't see any reason why he couldn't get along with our team, they're all nice guys.

He probably also wants a guaranteed spot in the rotation. Forgot to mention that. I'm OK with him being a pseudo starter at PF for 25 mpg while primarily playing with the bench.

I don't know if he'd demand a starting spot. He was coming off the bench in Houston, wasn't he?

He played 10 games in HOU of which he started 2. I don't think he particularly enjoyed that.

I'd put him in the Vonleh role, start the first and third, and also give him a few mins with the bench in the 2nd and fourth.

At this point in his career I think he's more suited, especially defensively, playing the PF spot. We know Stotts won't move Aminu to SF.

Completely random--I was just looking at the all-time coaching wins list. Anyone realize that Erik Spoelstra has over 500 career wins, and is presently sixth among active coaches?

Crazier still--despite being in his 11th year in Miami, Spoelstra is only now the same age as Popovich was his first year as head coach in San Antonio.

LMAO, Brad Stevens called a timeout 29 seconds into the Celtics-Nets game.

Good thing we have such basketball in this terrible dark time in the Pac-12. Otherwise what would we do with ourselves,

Yeah. You won two whole league games when the conference is having it's worst year in existence. That's front page of the Oregonian type material, that is.

I like Tinkle. He's a good coach. Winning with a fan base like that who has such unrealistic expectations at times, has to be difficult.

The Western Athletic Conference is better than the Pac-12 this year! San Fransisco would be the best team in the Pac-12 right now hahaha.

The PAC-12 sucks this year, but we actually have a chance. If we could make the dance I’d be in heaven!
