never thought it did....just sayin' losers also buy and wear hats...not just winners...and everyone needs to control their emotions no matter which side of a vote your pen made a mark...the emotion is making that vote a divisive issue where you get the "us vs them" Hatfield McCoy bloodfeud going....Trump's hat isn't a winners hat...it's a double standard hat bought with lies

Ha! That funny, well maybe sad. I see it as a Winners hat and I agree with the theme. I feel sorry that you take the poor boy view.

I’m depressed. The past two days in here have been exhausting and frustrating. Concerned about my kids in this country. I’ve got three little boys who are going to have to deal with this shit as part of the new normal America. And it’s depressing. I always thought people who said they were moving to Canada or Europe or wherever to get away from the country were bitching whiners. But goddamn it sure sounds good at this point.

I am on board with you here. I have 3 little girls oldest is 4 and another kid on the way, (beeen busy). Its scary what were bringing our kids into. The grass isnt always greener in those other countries, but the USA definitely seems to be cracking at it’s seams. We can go around all day about who started it and who did what, but I think about what my kids will have to deal with a lot. I read the OT here which is calm compared to many places and just shake my head.
Again, I want to apologize to you if it came across like I was calling you a racist, wasnt my intent.

I am not pleased that you are distressed. I get it, the worry about 3 little boys. I have 3 young grandsons and I feel the same for them. One is not so young now, in the early teens, soon he will be of the same age as the boy that had the old drum beater get in his face. Damn! I don't want to see him have to deal with this sort of shit
nor all the hate I read here in S2 about how despicable that young fellow is.

Damn if I can see why people wish harm on him or your kids either.

    Ha!
It might be a sight to see that old drum beater in my grandson's face by the time he is 15. Just turned 12 and he is 6' tall, 180 pound now. He seems to be and inch
taller each time I see him now. Damn! When will this stop?

That drum beater will need stool to be in the picture with the grin.

so your answer is to use violence? Very trumpish of you. but hopefully his father is much smarter and wiser and he teaches his son respect and that violence isn't the answer.

Cup, I read that and thought the same thing but when you reread it thats not what he’s saying. He’s saying the drummer wont be tall enough to be in the picture. Just sayin’.

Really disappointing to see the lack of assertive action on the part of the Sheriff officers.

And I think it is terrible that we have turned schools in to kill zones by making them Gun free zones. Most all the School mass shooting have occurred since the
laws went into effect to make Schools gun free killing zones. Terrible planning! If you are going to broadcast to the world that there are no guns here to worry about,
then we sure as hell need to protect the kids in those places. Parkland was an example of utter fail due to ineptitude and piss poor planning following a dumb ass law being implemented.

I hear ya man. Keep your head up. Seriously. It does seem grim with all of the issues on the table for American society.

I have not had a child, but my wife and i are about ready to have a planned child. Set up ready to provide the time and funds to raise proper.
But we are scared shitless of bringing a child imto what the future seems to behold. The horizon doesnt look good. Do we want to bring a child into this? We are truly at an impass at the moment and its becoming the toughest decision we wilk have to ever make. Only a few years ago it seemed a given, as a, not if, but when.

Its an instant wolrd thats spinning faster and faster. How can we expect everyone to be able to keep control? Not everyone has a Monkey grip on thier life.

With that said, i try to find a moment in every day where i can stop and realize some form of this world or life has beauty. Take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate it and then move on.
Though for me, most of those moments come from nature and animals. not humans. Lol.

This probably will not shock many of you. But I have a different opinion on using violence.

I grew up in a time when someone got into your face, or called you or a family member a name. You defended your space and honor. And our parents expected us to fight to defend our honor.

Guess what, times were more tranquil with much less hate, tension, and violence than we have today. Reason.

Everyone was taught to respect others. You did not get into their face, or call names, unless you were ready to do battle.

Everyone tried harder to get alone, and to accept others for who they are.

We were also taught to never talk about politics or religion. Now I know why.

    Yes, of course.

It but an end to name calling and disrespect. Far less problems in the long run.
