    Trent 37 minutes 11-21fg 6-7 3 points 5-7 ft 6 rebs 4 steals 1 assist 1 block 0 TO 3 fouls 33 points +13.
    Trent went off tonight in the 2nd half. This is his overall his best game yet down in the G-league.

    Trent often looks like the best player on the floor. I think he’s going to be another second round hit for Olshey. I think he’ll be better than Crabbe and more along the caliber of Barton.

    Well he is scoring at all 3 levels and something that Crabbe didn't really show. Trent has shown that he also to able to get to the free throw line. But what surprised me is his rebounding. Now he is playing a lot of minutes down and he putting a lot of shots up. But there occasionally has gone some dry spell in his shooting but eventually start hitting then make his percentage look good. But the question will how long a leash will Stotts give him to come out of a dry spell.

    In a couple of years, when Olshey takes a bad stretch contract to get rid of Trent, who then immediately becomes the best player on a Big Apple team, half the board will whine, "Olshey had to! It was just a routine cap move! Stop trolling!"

    Can I ask how you came to that conclusion? Not really disagreeing but one year he drafted guards one year he drafted bigs. He did pay ET and Crabbe a lot in the same summer. I think he struggles to balance his roster.

    Olshey hasn’t had a balanced roster since the one he largely inherited.

    He’s doing what a good player is supposed to do down there. By comparison, none of Crabbe, Barton, Layman, or McCollum were anywhere close to as productive in their stints in the g league, and they were all older as well.
