Oh but you have today and most other days. Just do a search of all your posts plenty of direct and indirect comments regarding Olshey. Are you denying it? Own it, it's yours.

Why not attack the post and not the poster? Why bring up shit he did previously in response, as opposed to keeping that wherever it was, and this thread about current responses?

Nice try though, you almost managed to derail another thread.

I'm sure this has been talked about in at least 3 threads, but I don't have the time to read through 15+ pages of those threads so I'll just post this here.

I don't see a way that we acquire Davis and keep Nurk simply because I don't think they'd work well together.

Ah I get what youre saying. The media is assuming CJ is off the table. Im not sure why they would think that.

Look at how our own social media team pushes CJ while ignoring guys like Nurk. Olshey also always mentions CJ when talking about Dame. If the narrative isn’t different locally, why would it be different nationally?

They’d be nuts together. Nurk can be a facilitator offensively, and he’d be happy to do it. Defensively those two would be filth.

Well CJ is more marketable than Nurk, he’s so flashy and can score. Nurk isnt really as easy to market. Not denying I think NO likes CJ and Dame. Id be surprised if anyone not named Dame was actually off the table though.

Really? I think they compliment each other very well. Run an offense with a high post and a low post and we’re good in my opinion.

Idk, Nurks game is more aesthetically pleasing imo. There aren’t many bigs with his all around skill set. He’s also hilariously honest on the mic with a really interesting and frankly inspirational background.

My response wasn't even to him and was meant light hearted but also a lot of truth to it.

I love Nurks game I was complaining the first few months they should run the offense through him. I just think CJ’s smoothness, the crossovers, the 3’. The ‘fancy’ plays those are easy to get a highlight reel of that casual fans would eat up.

I just disagree I guess. Davis demands touches. So that leaves Nurk standing around the 18 foot range while his defender doubles Davis, and Nurk is a non-factor. I'm sure Davis would love that. Nurk has already been in this situation in Denver and that worked well for him... The other option is Nurk taking the post ups while Davis hovers around the perimeter, which seems like a waste. Stotts already struggles to keep one post player involved in the offense. I'm not saying they couldn't coexist well, I'm just saying that I doubt that they would.

Not that i think a deal will happen, but if they lose Davis a very good big man on a very reasonable contract would be a starting point for the Pels.

Defensively I think they’d be great. Offensively I think it would be an adjustment period for them.

I'd suggest they think that because whenever Portland has been mentioned in trade talks over the last 2-3 years, CJ is always listed as untouchable. Woj has said it; David Aldridge has said it; Lowe has said it. Pretty sure Chris Haynes has said it. Locally, Quick has said it too. "Portland's starting guards are off-limits"

now, maybe they all are getting it from the same original 'source' but it certainly has been a recurring theme.

Of course it'd be a defensive upgrade, most of the time. There would still be times when Nurk is a liability.

None of the guys who have been “available” have been AD though... PG13 was probably the closest talent wise, but AD’s better.
